Vanessa's pov

"So how was your date?" I bring up on our grocery trip.

Oscar promised to make me spaghetti. I also needed diapers for Vienna and food for the house.

"The date was cool." He nodded.

"Just cool? What the fuck." I laugh at how plain he was being.

"Yeahhh... i like Courtney."

"Are you sure?..." i raise my brow at how unsure he seemed.

"I do. I just dont wanna rush things." He pointed out.

"Yeah i've noticed you like to take things slow. Remember it took you 5 years to propose." I giggle at the fact i waited that long.

"Thats cause i was waiting for you to propose first." He teased.

"Mhm." I laugh.

"My homie Mando wasted no time." He chuckled.

"I paid him to marry me." I joke.

"I believe that."

"So when does he come back?"

"No clue.. last i checked in his letter he mentioned staying longer." I sigh.

"Oh shit."

"Yeah." I pouted as i stocked up the cart with diapers.

"Well dont even worry fool. He'll be back before you can reach the top shelf." Oscar laughed at how much i was struggling to get baby formula from the top shelf. What the fuck target.

The drive back to the house was so amusing.

Oscar was singing High school musical songs with me.

"I thought you hated High school musical. Look at you now singing word for word and shit." I call him out as he parked in the drive way.

Then we unpacked everything in my house.

"I knoww." He sighed. "If you ever tell anybody-"

"Dont worry. Its our little secret." We pinky promised.

"Whats your little secret?" We jerked our heads to the living room couch to see Armando standing up.
