Vanessa's pov

"Babe i have to leave now." Armando let out a sigh as i held onto him tighter.

"I know." I sobbed.

"I'll be back. For you, for Ryder, for Malachi, and for Vienna." He spoke softly.

It made me sad that he wasn't even going to be here for when Vienna was born. At least he named her.

"Okay. I better go now." He set me down.

I nodded in agreement as i kissed him one last time.

"Please be safe." I sniffled as he nodded and smiled at me.

"I love you." He kissed my forehead before saying his goodbyes to everyone else.

"Bye my love." Now i was crying in my moms arms as i watched Armando walk off with his army buddies.

Fuck this is going to be harder than i thought.

"You are going to be okay." My mom tried to calm me down.

"Stay strong for your babies." I nodded as i tried to stop the tears.

"Hey." I turn to see Oscar walk into my office.

I was just doing inventory for the week and it was taking a while because all i could think about was Armando.

"How are you holding up?" He smiled at me.

"I'm doing okay for now. Should've seen me when he left." I laughed.

"I did. Javier went live on instagram." We both started laughing.

"Of course he was." I shook my head.

"So how is the new cook?" I change the subject.

"Oh. She's pretty cool. Fast worker. Which is good cause im tired with working by myself."

"Thats good." I nodded.

"Yeah. Actually.... she kinda asked me on a date."

"Courtney?" I gasped as i flipped through papers.

"Yeah. Is that cool with you?" Oscar looked at me concerned.

"Yes. Why wouldn't it be? You deserve to be happy too Oscar." I smiled at him.

He nodded his head.

"I just dont know if shes prepared for what i have to offer. What if i scare her off?" He looked at me worried.

"Well just dont scare her."

"I haven't been in a serious relationship since... you." He mentioned.

"I knowww. Thats crazy." I laughed.
"Just take it slow buddy."

"Says the one who got married in less than a year." He teased.

"I know. But i just know. Hes my soul mate man."

Oscar's pov

After Vanessa left the Taqueria it was just Javier and i closing up.

"Damn this is such a movie." Javier laughed.

"What?" I furrow my brows at him.

"Its simple but complicated. You love Vanessa. But you pushed it to the limit. Now shes married and having Armando's baby. So now all you can do is move on. But you really dont want too." Javier smirked.

"I like how you are so fixated on my problems instead of yours." I grin at him.

"Hey dont hate me."

"I don't. I hate myself." I groan as i lean over the wall.

"Maybe you guys just need a break."

"No. Shes married. And Armando is the homie. I cant do that to them."

"Mhm." He rolls his eyes.

"Seriously. No matter how much i love her. I'm not getting in the middle of it." I explain to him.

"Mhm sure."

"Fuck off." I laugh.

"I say you get at Courtney." Javier smiled.

"Why?"

"Because it will show whether or not Vanessa is officially over you or not."

"It doesnt matter. Its not happening. Im trying to be on good terms for Ryder's sake." I let out a sigh.

"I understand but come on!"

"Worry about your own baby mama." I look him in the eyes.

"Shes boring though." He sighed.

"Hellooooo is anybody here." Ruby entered the Taqueria.

We both looked at him as he held a some pepper spray.

"Yall scared the fuck out of me. I thought we were getting robbed."

"Whats there to steal? Carne asada."

"Uh yes." Ruby rolled his eyes at me.

"Okay then." I nodded.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Javier looked at him.

"I was going to check Vanessa's inventory list. She wanted me to look it over because she aint thinking straight. I guess Armando gone is really fucking with her."

"Yup. Could be true love." Javier nudged me. Honestly i really dont know if hes team Oscarnessa or Armanessa.
