RICHARD'S POV :

Karma was finally dealing with this devil man and I couldn't help but laugh about it. I wasn't sure that I would be able to witness it, but here I was seeing the incredible job Karma was doing. He thought he was invincible for so long and now life was proving him wrong.

It was actually one of the best days of my life and I didn't feel bad about the way I felt one bit.

Though I was stooping to his level and it might not be the best way to live life, I couldn't help it and suppress those feelings. I couldn't act like I cared and wasn't happy about his suffering. All those years, he thought he was some type of God and could do anything, hurting people left and right to get what he wanted, and now he was finally the one in pain. He wasn't in control anymore and every bad thing he'd done was coming back to bite him in the ass.

I really couldn't help but be extremely happy about this.

"So, can I see him now ? " He kept insisting as we just looked at him with no emotions apparent on our faces. Tinashe still looked a little bit shocked though.

We then heard heels clicking on the floor, what got us our attention as we turned our heads towards the noise. Mrs. Kash was walking in our direction with a disgusted look on her face. Tamicka was right behind her, walking with her arms folded, stale facing her father. I looked in Mrs. Kash's eyes and you could see the anger she had for her soon to be ex-husband.

"What are you doing here ? You better go, because nobody wants you here."

He squinted his eyes angrily, "shut the fuck up you stupid bit--"

Before he could fully let the word out, Tam cut him off with a slap. It sounded like she put all her strength into it because it was loud as hell. I was wondering if she disfigured the man, what wasn't the case, but his cheek was changing of color nonetheless. Which was more surprising because he had a brown skin. Once again, I couldn't help but show my joy as a small smirk appeared on my face. He was only getting what he deserved.

"Do NOT dare call my mother out of her name, you bastard ! Now get the fuck out of here before I kick your ass out myself. Nobody wants you here." This didn't sound like a daughter talking to her father, but more like a young, angry and disappointed woman talking to a stranger. I know I would be hurt a bit if it was happening to me, but I wasn't him.

He frowned, taking back by her words as he rubbed his cheek. He didn't talk back, just stared at her before his eyes then landed on Tinashe who was still silent, and finally on his soon to be ex-wife. I scrunched up my eyebrows when I noticed the look in his eyes. It seemed like they were even watering, but he was preventing the water to go further because he wasn't a crier and surely didn't want to look vulnerable in front of us. I also saw remorse and what seemed to be sadness.

Was he having a moment of truth ?

He sighed loudly in desperation, then everything switched and he was getting back to his old self again. His eyes now were dark and filled with anger and disgust, and they were targeting me. What did he want from me now ? What was he about to do ? I really didn't have patience for his bullshit today.

"You ! " He pointed an accusing finger at me as he made a few steps towards me, "you destroyed my family ! " He raised his voice, lowering his arm.

I chuckled, "no, sir. I didn't do all that." I said, shaking my head. "You did it to yourself. Nobody forced you to do all you did, it was all you. Nobody but you decided to do everything in your power to ruin our lives. And for what ? Because of some controlling issues ? Well, now it's too late to be sorry. Here are the consequences, so for once, be a real man and be responsible for your foolish acts of selfishness. I hope you learned your lesson."
