Chapter 34

In the morning Jane woke up with a chill that ran down her spine she blinked her eyes open to see Zoro on one side of her and Sanji on the other she quietly opened the tent and got out before shutting it again she went up to the ship going inside to her room she grabbed a hoodie and put it on then her jacket before going back out she jumped down and started a fire she sat down and looked into the fire trying to warm herself up she heard the sound of a tent opening behind her she looked over her shoulder to see Sanji he stretched with a yawn "morning" Jane said "morning" Sanji said with a smile he started to cook breakfast everyone started to get up "hey Jane go wake up zoro tell him breakfast is ready" sanji said Jane nodded she went over to the tent she opened it and crawled inside she poked zoro's forehead he had a scowl on his face and brushed her hand away she poked him a couple more times "zoro" she whispered "hmm" he mumbled "breakfast" she said he smiled before pulling her down "is that an offer?" he whispered "no no it's not" she said with a smile "get up" she said he sighed "fine" he said letting go she got out of the tent followed bye zoro they went and sat down by the fire with the crew "about time you got up lazy" nami said zoro had a scowl on his face sanji handed him and Jane each a plate everyone began eating "Franky how much longer will the repairs take?" nami asked "about 2-3 days" he responded nami nodded "perfect" she said the crew finished eating and nami stood up "Jane lets go shopping" nami said jane shrugged "see ya later guys" she said following nami quickly they went into town "who'd have thought you and zoro would get together" nami said tossing something at Jane she caught it "yeah well I don't know if it was his look's, charm or attitude" she said giggling as she went into the change room nami laughed "the two of you do make a cute couple" she said "really? I didn't notice" she said stepping out of the change room she wore a dress that came to the knee it was blue "that looks great on you" nami said Jane smiled "thanks" after a few hours of trying things on the two bought their stuff before heading back "nami we should pick up some soda for Franky cause he IS working on the ship non stop" Jane said nami nodded "yeah I guess it would be good maybe the ship'll get done faster" nami said as the two walked into a store picking up soda for Franky before walking back to the camp "Franky" nami shouted as they approached "yeah?" he said Jane held up the case of soda "all right you lady bros are awesome" Franky said as Jane handed him the box Jane went into the ship and changed into a new outfit it was a black tee shirt and a light blue wash pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers Jane put her hoodie and jacket back on after she went back out

Sitting by the fire she shivered a bit "you cold?" zoro asked she. Shrugged " i'm always god damn cold" she said laughing he laughed and opened his arms gesturing for her to sit with him she moved a bit and he put his arms around her "feel any better?" zoro asked she nodded "yeah" she said with a smile "oi don't you two start being all lovey Dovey now" sanji said "how is this lovey dovey? " Jane asked sanji gave her a look "she was cold" zoro said with little venom sanji shook his head before returning to what he was doing jane looked at zoro he shook his head with a shrug and Jane turned back to the fire trying to warm up her hands zoro took a hold of her hands as he rest his head on her shoulder luffy and nami came over luffy sat down and nami sat in his lap luffy wrapped his arms around nami she relaxed into him. after a bit Jane had warmed up zoro let go and she stood up and began walking where a few trees stood "where are you going?" zoro asked "to climb a tree" Jane responded she jumped up onto a branch and began climbing up the tree half way up she decided to take a break and look around a bit she sat on a thick branch and looked down at the camp and the Sunny she smiled and took in a breath of air she felt the cool breeze bringing a chill down her spine she started climbing again a good 20 minutes later Jane reached the top of the tree she sat on one of the top branches looking down "JANE LUCH IS READY!" sanji yelled Jane looked down she turned around before dropping backwards she closed her eyes the feeling of adventure and excitement running through her she flipped before landing silently on the ground her knees bent she walked over to the crew "what an entrance" nami said Jane laughed "well I had to get out of the tree some how" Jane said nami nodded "I guess it's a good thing your not a normal human being" nami said Jane nodded "I guess so" the crew started eating once everyone finished sanji washed all of the dishes zoro went for a nap in the tent ,nami was drawing maps inside the ship ,robin was reading on the deck ,chopper was studying ,Franky was working on the ship ,luffy was exploring ,usopp was working on a new weapon ,Pierce was off doing who knows what or where and sanji was rewriting recipes. Jane was laying on the ground with her eyes closed relaxing the smell of campfire and fresh air filled her nose she opened her eyes and sat up tossing more wood on the fire she went over to the tent and crawled inside she looked at zoro's sleeping face she smiled and brushed his hair back she laid down next to him and started to play with his hair he stirred she took her hand back from his hair "that feels nice" he said Jane was a little shocked "did I wake you?" she asked playing with his hair again "no" zoro said jane smiled "ok" she said laying her head down on her pillow she closed her eyes as she played with his hair before falling asleep some hours later Jane found herself laying in Zoro's lap he was stroking her hair and brushing his fingers through it she opened her eyes with a smile "retiring the favour?" she asked he nodded "yeah" Jane moved a bit before siting up she smiled before moving to the tent door and crawling out she moved away from the door for a bit before collapsing on the ground "are you okay?" sanji asked looking down at her she nodded "it's just so much effort to get out of that thing" she said gesturing to the tent sanji laughed "your so lazy" he said she smiled "duh" she said before sanji walked away zoro then crawled out "what's withy you?" he asked "lazy" she said he nodded "oh" zoro laughed before moving over by the fire Jane pulled off her jacket and removed her hoodie before putting her jacket on again she managed to crawl to the fire she laid face down on the ground she closed her eyes "so lazy" she mumbled she heard laughter and looked up to see the crew she blinked "oh hello" she said the crew laughed a little more Jane sat up and leaned her head on Zoro's shoulder "have you ever had one of those days where you feel so weighed down that you don't even want to breath?" Jane asked a few crew members nodded in agreement "that's how I Feel now" she said the crew laughed a little again before chatter commenced Jane heard something odd through all of the chatter her ears perked up and she lifted her head like a dog "jane?" zoro said she turned her head and stood up "jane what's wrong?" zoro asked jane held a finger up towards him he looked at what she was looking at "oi luffy" zoro said luffy looked at zoro he gestured with his head towards Jane she pointed with her hand "don't move" she said the crew stopped talking as a group of bandits came out from the woods "alright ladies gentlemen hand over all your jewels and riches and no one gets hurt zoro reached for his swords "hey I said don't move" Jane whispered she very slowly went for her pistol the crew froze as if it was a photo "come on we don't got all day otherwise we could just take one of your women" the man said grabbing nami's arm Jane stepped forward luffy was about to act she looked at him and he calmed right down "take me instead" Jane said confidently "luffy aren't you gonna do anything?" usopp whispered luffy shook his head "nope" he took a sip of his tea the crew looked shocked Pierce let out a laugh "he knows" luffy said the crew looked over confused zoro soon got what they meant "she's got a plan" he whispered "alright we'll take you instead" the man said Jane smirked as soon at the man touched Jane she had his head at gun point "drop your weapons and may as well leave your goods" Jane said the bandits laughed she pulled back the safety the gun clicked luffy laughed "she's got this under control" he said "back to our activity's luffy said beginning conversation and eating "you still don't believe me?" She said "drop it" the leader said the bandits slowly started to drop their weapons except one pointed his gun at her she shot him in less than half a second she pushed the man away who's she had as hostage "leave" she said the bandits got up and ran dragging their injured man with em Jane grabbed all the weapons and the expensive things she tossed the valuables at nami who caught em "add that to the ship fund" Jane said nami nodded and Jane sat down again placing the weapons in a pile in front of her she leaned her head on Zoro's shoulder "now I'm even more tired ,stupid bandits" Jane said cursing under her breath.she closed her eyes "don't go falling asleep" Pierce said Jane mumbled something that no one could understand before she fell asleep she woke up sometime later warmth holding onto either of her arms she slowly opened her eyes to see Zoro's sleeping face and looked to the other side to see sanji who let go and turned his back to her she moved she her back was to him as well before cuddling into Zoro's chest zoro put an arm over her and Jane smiled to herself before falling asleep.
