Chapter 36

A couple weeks had gone by Jane had healed completely and Pierce decided to get off at the last island they were on because of the previous trouble he had caused. jane was meditating on the roof of the crows nest. she was calm and listening to the waves when she heard a loud ruckus she opened her eyes mad that someone interrupted her she moved to the edge of the roof and looked down to see zoro and sanji going at it again she sighed "boy's" she said "what was that idiot Marimo!" sanji yelled "you heard me eyebrows!" zoro yelled loud crashing and banging was heard Jane sat on the edge looking down "idiots" she said pushing herself off of the crows nest jumping down she landed "what's going on down here your so noisy" Jane said "he started it!" the two said in sync Jane sighed bringing a hand to her face "idiots" she looked at the two as they started fighting again she shook her head and rolled her eyes before pulling out a cigarette and a match she moved to the side of the boat she lit the cigarette and inhaled the smoke before exhaling she closed her eyes as the two started to fight again she quickly finished her cigarette and went into the ship to her room she grabbed her sketch pad and started to draw. She heard the door open behind her and quickly shut the book before turning around to see zoro "hi" she said "hey" zoro said walking up to her she flipped open her book to a different page and started drawing zoro leaned down and wrapped his arms around her "what are you doing?" he asked "drawing" she said she smiled at the thought of him being interested in what she was doing "can I try?" he asked "sure I don't see why not" Jane said she tore a page from her book and pulled a pencil from the desk Jane took it over to the bed handing him a book the two sat on the bed and began to draw after a while "what do you think?" zoro said showing Jane the picture he drew Jane smiled "it's great" she said looking at the small cartoon "your pretty good at that" she said zoro smiled jane got up and went to the desk grabbing a bunch of paper she turned back to see zoro was looking at her sketch book her eyes widened "what are you doing" she asked "nothing" he said she tried to grab her sketchbook he pulled it away "what? I can't look at it?" he said "no you can't" Jane said trying to reach for it "why? what's so private about it?" he asked flipping the page "no! don't" she said zoro started flipping through pages "wow are these all of me?" he asked Jane blush "give it back please" she said her blush deepened "wow these are really good" he said "zoro" jane pleaded he still kept the book away Jane sighed before she jumped on him making him lay back on the bed she brought her lips to his before reaching for her book. "Aha got it!" Jane said sitting up "aww no fair" zoro said jane closed her book and held it against her chest "well from what I did see your really good at drawing me" zoro said jane turned red as a tomato now she shoved her sketch book into her shirt zoro looked at her "you really think I won't go for it just because you put it down your shirt?" zoro said questioningly Jane looked up "oh no you don't" she said running to the door zoro took a few strides grabbing her from behind she held in her shriek before she stared laughing she brought her arms down to cover her stomach "give it to me" zoro whispered "no" Jane said giggling "fine" zoro said he reached to the bottom of her shirt and lifted the bottom "hey let go" Jane laughed. Zoro chuckled "then let me see" zoro said "no it's mine" Jane said he stuck his hand up her shirt and reached for the sketch book "ack your hands are cold" Jane said zoro laughed grabbing hold of her sketch book he pulled it out with a victorious smile he let go of her and opened the door running off " HEY GET BACK HERE ASS HOLE" Jane shouted running down the hall after him he ran out to the deck Jane following after she almost had him he was at the bottom of the stairs Jane jumped he turned to face her just as she landed knocking him over she was sitting on his stomach "give it back" she said zoro smirked "i already flipped through it anyway" zoro said handing her the sketch book "hey you two get a room" usopp said Jane and zoro looked over and Jane stood up quickly embarrassed "later!" she said before quickly running off back inside the ship she ran into her room hiding the sketch book she turned back looking at the door she sighed "I can't believe he did that" she said angrily there was a knock on the door "yes?" Jane said "hey lunch is ready" Jane heard sanji say jane opened the door and followed him to the kitchen sitting down in her usual spot she ate with everyone. after lunch Jane went out to the deck and sat at the back of the boat in the shade she was still upset about zoro looking at her sketch book she sat in silence watching the water flow away from the back of the ship she heard foot steps coming her way and flipped up to the Landing above her she crouched "jane where are you look i'm sorry" Jane heard zoro "if your sorry then why did you do it?" Jane asked standing up "come on you can't take a little joke?" zoro asked jane looked at him he sighed "Jane i'm sorry come on can't you forgive me?" he asked Jane thought about it "hmmmm" she said "oh no" zoro said jane laughed "i don't know yet but i'll think of something" Jane said with a sly smirk she jumped down from where she was standing zoro had a look of regret on his face "what are you worried about?" Jane asked "i've seen the way you act" zoro said Jane smiled "so what? I thought you liked the wild side" Jane whispered in his ear it sent a shiver down zoro's spine Jane smiled before sitting down again zoro sat with her Jane stared out the back of the ship " so do you forgive me?" he asked "for now I guess" Jane said zoro smiled before pushing her down on the deck he brought his lips down on her's she smiled as he kissed down her collarbone "there's the wild side" Jane said zoro smiled bringing his lips back up to her mouth she brought her hands to his hair they heard footsteps coming their way and the two sat up quickly fixing their hair and making it seem like they had just been sitting their doing nothing sanji came around the corner "hey dinner will be ready in about ten minutes" sanji said Jane nodded "ok" sanji left Jane looked at zoro and started laughing "I can't believe this" Jane said zoro laughed "agreed" zoro said Jane kissed him once again before standing up she walked to the kitchen leaving zoro there. Jane walked into the kitchen and sat down in the usual spot sanji had just finished making dinner and everyone came into the kitchen after dinner Jane went to her room she put on a pair of shorts and pulled off her shirt and jacket before laying down on her bed she put her arms under her pillow and closed her eyes she heard the bedroom door open after a few minutes she felt someone crawl into her bed she turned over as they put their arm over her she opened her eyes to see zoro he smiled she smirked before closing her eyes "checking to make sure it's me?" zoro whispered she nodded slightly "you never know it could be some creepy stowaway" Jane said zoro laughed and chatted for a bit Before the two fell asleep. The next morning Jane woke up and looked at zoro he was asleep peacefully she got up and had a shower got dressed and zoro was still asleep she laid down next to him she started examining his torso traveling over his abs with her finger working her way up and down his stomach zoro opened his eyes "what are you doing?" he asked Jane shrugged "I don't know i'm bored" she said zoro smirked closing his eyes again "what time is it?" he asked "seven" she said "it's to early back to sleep" zoro said grabbing hold of her he pulled her into his chest "sleep more" he said Jane giggled "but I'm already up" jane looked at zoro he wasn't letting go "fine" she said closing her eyes the two fell asleep again for a couple hours then got up for breakfast. They entered the kitchen and sat down jane moved her hand so she could hold Zoro's undertow table so no one could see after eating and chatting with the crew everyone went to the deck JANE went to the back of the ship in her little spot she jumped up to the landing and hung out in the shade she heard someone call her name "jane" they said again Jane stood up and walked to the edge of the landing she saw zoro standing there she put her hands down on the railing going into a hand stand "catch" she said flipping off the edge zoro looked towards her and quickly held out his arms Jane landed in his arms with her eyes shut tight "that was a crazy trust exercise " she said slowly opening her eyes "you thought I wouldn't catch you?" He asked Jane giggled "I wasn't sure if you had enough time to react" she said zoro smirked and planted a soft kiss on her lips before putting her down the two sat and talked for a while as noon came and it was time for lunch.
