The Pirate's Tree

Trust is nothing but a dream, as is peace
There is only a calm before the storm.
The calm will always be broken again.
There is nothing that keeps that peace
From shattering into dazzling shards.
We are all alone on the Sea of Life.
We meet others at the pirate's tree,
Where he doth hang still, lost to all,
And yet never caring for the world.
How can I be more like that pirate?
