"Hello, Teacher!! I miss you." Chelsea said to her teacher on the other line.
Oh, hell nooo! Bakit ba kasi kailangan pang tumawag nung Vanguard na yon? Nakakasira tuloy ng moment.
Ang saya saya na sana ng family bonding namin eh kaso lagi na lang may asungot.
Hindi ko mapigilang mainis at mapasimangot. Napansin pala ito ni Jema.
"What's with the face, baby?" she asked.
Nakadikit uli yung braso nya sa akin. She looks worried.
"Nothing, Love. Pagod lang siguro at gutom." paliwanag ko.
I tried to compose myself and not to look annoyed kasi nga kakaumpisa pa lang ulit namin. I can't confront her just because that Veni called. Hindi naman kasalanan ni Jema yun.
"Gusto mo ba magpahinga muna? You can rest here. Check ko lang yung niluluto ko saglit para makakain na tayo." she said while smiling.
Bago ako makasagot sa kanya, we heard Chelsea;
"Okay, Teacher. I'll see you tomorrow. Bye." she said.
She gave the phone back to Jema and went back to her position next to mine. Napangiti naman ako, I think Chelsea's comfortable na with me.
Jema then gave me a quick smack sa lips nung hindi nakatingin si Chelsea sa amin.
"Argh, Love, don't tease me. I might not be able to control myself, sige ka!" sabi ko sa kanya.
She just laughed. Alam nya hindi ako makakaganti kasi nandun si Chelsea.
Tumayo na sya at bumalik na sa kusina.
We continued watching movies ni Chelsea. She picked out a new one since tapos na We Bear Bares. We are now watching SING. My favorite!
Aba, same na lahat ng favorite ninyo?
I want to be close to Chelsea not just because of Jema but also because I want to.
"Chelsea, do you really like your Teacher Veni?" I asked out of curiosity.
"It's Teacher VANIE, Auntie Deanna. Not Veni. You're funny! HAHA!" She giggles. So cuuute!
"Yes, I like her. She's my favorite teacher in the whole wide world." she continued.
Tsk, kids nowadays. Favorite daw eh sya lang naman yata ang teacher nya.
"How about me? Do you like your Auntie Deanna?" I asked.
Siempre ayoko din magpatalo.
"Yes... yes!! You are funny and my mum's friend. We have the same favorites too. Pancakes and chocolate cakes, yummy." she answered while giggling.
Parehas din nating paborito si mummy mo.
"Yes, we do have the same favorites. I also love watching cartoon movies." I said.
"Really? What is your favorite?" she asked.
We are starting to know each others interest na.
"I love what we are watching now, SING. And also what we watched earlier, We Bare Bears." I answered with some actions pa.
"Wooow! We have same favorites! We can be super friends!" Chelsea blurted out.
Okay, 1 point for Deanna Wong!
"Hmmn, Chelsea. Why don't you just call me Dada since we are already super friends?" I cautiously asked.
Try lang naman, baka umepekto at umoo, hehe.
