Chapter 23

Deanna and I presented the final product advertisements for Rebisco. They were impressed of course.

More than two heads ba naman ang gumana para mabuo yun.

"Excellent job for you guys. Hindi nga kami nagkamali sa pagpili ng company ninyo. I'm sure we'll have more projects with CDM and AWE in the future." Mr. Alvarez said bago sya lumabas ng room.

Biniro pa kami ni Christine, his secretary, na we really have this good connection and should probably start working as a team.

Not a bad idea, huh.

I saw Deanna beaming with the compliments we received. She deserves it naman talaga dahil malaki rin yung contributions nya.

We all went out to have lunch after our presentation.  Hindi kasi kami nakapag breakfast ng maayos kanina.  My three angels and siempre kasama si Deanna.

"First of all, congratulations to everyone for a job well done.  Ang galing ng teamwork natin together with AWE." I said to them.

"Yes, but it's because of your leadership kaya naging success yung project." Deanna said.

Ay, na touched naman ako sa sinabi ni baby.

"Agree, we have a great boss kasi." sabi pa ni Jia.

"Aba, nagbolahan pa tayo. Sige na nga, order what you want girls, it's my treat." sabi ko na lang.

"Ayan, galante si boss. Order na agad baka magbago pa isip." sabi ni Kyla.

Nagtawanan sila Jia at Michelle, pero kumuha na rin sila agad ng menu.

While waiting for our food, I decided to tell them na the good news.

"Hey guys, listen. Remember that I promised our team an outing after this project, right?" I said.

They all nodded except Deanna.

"I owe it to all your hard work and commitment guys so it's time to compensate all of us." I added.

Wala pa rin silang reaction.

"So, to express my appreciation to everyone, we are going to Amanpulo, on Thursday. Everything has been booked and reserved. We are staying there for 4 days and 3 nights. All you have to do is pack your bags and stuff." I finally said.

"Yes!" they all blurted out.

I can see the excitement all over their faces. Deserve naman nila talaga itong outing. Ilang araw din silang napuyat dahil dito.

I know it's a good idea to have a break muna from work, including me. In this way, we can refresh our mind before starting again our work with new clients.

Pag na-relax kami, mas marami kaming maiisip na new ideas na pwedeng magamit at i-apply.

Proven naman na, if the employees are happy, mas lalo silang gaganahan magtrabaho. Let them have a break.

It's a win-win situation.

"Wow, party time.  Let's celebrate!!  I can finally wear my new bikinis." Michelle said while clapping.

"Boss, anong oras tayo aalis sa Thursday? Aba, kailangan ng mag impake ora mismo." excited na sabi ni Kyla.

"You're so atat naman Kyla. Monday pa lang ngayon." sagot ni Jia.

"Thursday morning, 8am ang flight natin. Hanggang Sunday lunch tayo doon." I replied.

I am also excited.  Ngayon na lang ulit ako makakapag unwind.  Isasama ko sila Chelsea at Manang. Siguradong matutuwa ang mga yun.
