Chapter 35

It's Christmas Eve.

I'm so excited, Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Me and my dad were sitting in the living area, watching the Fault In Our Stars. We were on the pre-funeral, I was crying my eyes out.

Oh Luke was here too. We were both sitting on the floor, me sitting in between his legs. He kisses my cheek "you okay baby?"

I nod my head "it's just .... Augustus" I let out a sob.

He laughs slightly wrapping his arms around my waist.

At the end of the movie I was sobbing into Luke's chest. My father also had a few tears. "Okay, let's watch another" he tells me standing up and going to the DVD collection.

I pull away from Luke's chest, rubbing my eyes a little, the arms of my sweater came over my hand so I had sweater paws.

"This is why you’re my kitten" he says kissing my nose, making me scrunch it up on an adorable way. "You're so adorable"

I giggle slightly before looking back at the TV "the Grinch really dad?"

"Hey it's Christmas" he tells me "speaking of Christmas Luke why don't you spend it with us"

I gasp looking at Luke "Luke you should"

He looks up at my dad "are you sure I mean I wouldn't want to intrude"

"You wouldn't be intruding Luke, your basically like family" I tell him.

He smiles at me before saying "okay, I love to"

"Great" my dad says "I don't know what's going to happen with your mother Michael"

"Is she coming back?" I ask him. He shrugs his shoulders not knowing the answer. He presses play on the remote and the movie begins.

I look at Luke smiling sadly. I cuddle into his chest as we watch the movie.

"Do you really think she's not coming back" Luke asks me when we were both in bed.

We were now lying face to face in bed it was an hour till Christmas. Getting more excited every minute.

"I don't know Luke" I tell him sadly "she did this once when I was two, she left to go to Chicago and didn't come back for like two weeks"

"Wow" Luke breathes out.

"Oh I got you something" Luke reaches over to the bedside table and grabs a small box wrapped in snowman paper. "Merry early Christmas"

I sit up and unwrap the present and open the medium size black box. I gasp and take the necklace out, it was an oval shape which could open. I open it to see one picture of us in there. It was when we were at the Hawaiian theme at the beach slow dancing, Ashton took a sneaky snap at us. "It's beautiful"

Luke sits up also "I just wanted to give you something to remember me"

"Luke you're not going to die" I whimper out "don't put yourself down"

He kisses me, which makes me fall backwards onto the bed. He hovers on top of me. "I love you"

"I love you too Luke"

"Promise me that this is forever"

I nod my head placing my hands on the back of his neck "forever" I whisper before crashing my lips into his.

He softly grinds our crotches together, making me whimper slightly. He keeps doing that as he moves downwards to my neck. I move my head to the side to give him more access.

I could see my digital clock perfectly and the time was 0:30.

It was Christmas.

My eyes close in pleasure as I moan out "Merry Christmas Luke"

He pulls away from my neck, which was now imprinted with a few tiny love bites. He gives me a soft kiss, lingering before pulling away "Merry Christmas baby"
