so just a brief note, I took a lot of time writing this part because i just want to nail the romance parts of this story :( so here it is! it's really quite long but I hope you enjoy it.

THURSDAY 2:19:41 PM

I decided to make a stop at my gallery to do some quick inspections or maybe to have some time alone.

I vacantly enter the room, my eyes flying around the ceiling and to the walls. Scuffling my foot to the platform in the front, I couldn't help but feel empty whilst thinking of what Jaehyun told me. My shoulders were literally heaving. This made my arms dangle while being attached on my body.

"I've been looking everywhere for you!"

A piercing disembodied voice rung inside the room, seemingly coming from the front door. I jolted in surprise, only to discover it was Taeyong, endlessly panting as he strutted towards me. I then noticed he was holding onto a carnation pink paper bag with a vibrant red ribbon on its front.

"What. . . are you doing?" I batted my lashes in utter bemusement.

He shyly chuckled, completely catching me off guard. "Well, I brought you a gift."

I confusingly looked at the bag he was handing to me. "For what?"

"Because I want to. . . Is it not proper to give presents to your friends?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "You're looking for me to give me that?"

He shook his head like a little kid and subtly pressed his lips together.

"I. . . want to go somewhere with you."

"You want to hang out with me? Right now?"

Taeyong quietly nodded, his lips coiling upwards into a sly grin. Just thinking about it, the butterflies in my stomach were already wildly churning. I couldn't help but bite the insides of my cheeks as I hold back from screaming like a little girl.

I tried my best not to show I was getting flustered but I guess you can't control your hormones from stimulating. I felt my face heating up, especially around my jaw. My ears definitely were burning.

"Are you going to say yes or. . . what?" Taeyong leaned forward, handing the bag to me.

"What?" I absentmindedly replied. "I mean, yes. Of course, . . . I will. . ." I willingly accepted his present with a smile of satisfaction.

Taeyong's face brightened in triumph, biting his lower lip as a smirk crept into his face.

Taeyong circled his hand around my wrist, gently pulling me to him.

"Let's go, madame?" He scrunched his nose whilst holding back his smile.

I nodded, starting to feel giddy. "Just to be clear. . . we're going to this place as friends, right?"
