Part 1-The mute witness

Taehyung's POV

"Sir there is someone here to see you." My assistant said

"Okay call them." I said

A while later a fragile girl walked in with a tired and sad expression

"Hello i am lawyer Kim Taehyung." I smiled "you can make yourself comfortable ." I motioned her to sit , she nodded as she made her way and sat on the seat

"So what are you here for?" I asked as her eyes shot open towards me

I guess she didn't hear me so she didn't reply
"Sooooo?? What do you want?" I asked her again as i raised an eyebrow at her

She focused on my lips and then she started to move her hands , and started doing something which was completely out of my mind

Is she taking me as a joke?!!

"Guards ! GUARDS !! TAKE HER OUT NOW." I was so annoyed " WHO ALLOWED SOMEONE LIKE THIS INSIDE?" I spoke as i looked at her with a disgusted face

She stopped whatever she was doing as a guard appeared and started to approach her , i saw a glimpse of tear in her eyes as she saw him with fear

"Hey hey wait!" A tall guy with short hair and coloured eyes interrupted us
"She cant speak and neither can she hear."He said as he looked at her pity

Oh now i understand !! Why she was moving her hands and all , she was trying to tell me whatever her problem was ...
You are so stupid Kim Taehyung .. How could you?!

"Oh i am sorry." I told her as guilt rose inside me

She looked at me with disappointed eyes but then finally gave me a nod
"And who are you?" I asked the guy who stood beside her

"I am her cousin Max and this is Go Y/N " he introduced after which she gave her a nod and placed  her hand on her chest which i guess was her way of thanking him.

"Okay so what complain do you guys have?" I asked to which she started explaining with her hands again
"Actually last night my uncle who is also y/n's father was brutally murdered by someone and she witnessed her with her own eyes." He said as he let out an audible breath

"So can you tell me what you saw?" I asked
She started making signs again with her hand
"Umm i am sorry but i don't understand what you mean , i don't know sign language." I said as she looked at me with an exasperated expression

"Okay i ll explain for you." He smiled at y/n
She started making signs again

"She says last night someone came to her house all of a sudden , he got into an argument with her father , she says she was in her room then so she couldn't understand what they were talking about .." he said as he tried to understand her movements

"She says she came downstairs and saw the man hitting her father , she says her father saw her but the person didnt since it was his back , her father motioned her to hide and so she did in a closet and thats from where she saw everything." He spoke scanning her hand movements

Tears thats were threatening to fall at bay started trickling down her cheeks as fear and horror crept up inside her

I pitied her , she had to recall everything, means she had to watch her father die once again while explaining everything . I saw how her eyebrows would furrow, how she would sniff , how her eyes would dilate and how her expressions would pain every time.

"Did you see his face?" I finally asked to which she nodded

"Can you describe him?"I asked to which she started doing hand movements again
"She says she couldn't see much since she was inside the closet" he answered "only his side view." He finished as y/n averted her gaze towards him and tried to do the hand movements again with a worried expression..

"Okay can you draw it?" I asked
"No she cant." Max answered as he looked at her then me , listening to this her eyes snapped towards max as she gave him a confused look..

Max held her hand as he gave her an assuring look

"Okay then , i ll take this case , lets discuss this further tomorrow , i ll send some of my men at the crime scene to investigate." I said

So what do you all think ?
Will taehyung be able to solve this case?
