Part 3 - Guilty or Not

Jungkook's POV

We sat in utter silence as we drove along , y/n sat in the passenger seat while I was driving , we were going to Kate Carter's house.

Somehow we have managed to get out her address,The flashbacks from yesterday flashed in my mind as I sighed..

Me:What was I thinking? Why did I do that?
Brain: you have become a guy who is a "tease"
Me: what do you mean by tease
Brain: you know ! What you did yesterday
Me: that was a defence mechanism
Brain: defence mechanism? More like trying to get close mechanism
Me: tsk , why would I want to get close to her
Brain: because you-

"Jungkook Watch out." Y/n grabbed my arm as I steered in the steering bring the car to a halt

"Ah sorry!"

"You almost killed that poor cat , where is your attention" she more like scolded

" ok i am a human , I can make mistake."

"Are we here yet?" She asked peeking in my mobile phone's map

"Just a street more." I spoke as I resumed my driving

I parked just by the road as we got out .

"Shh" I motioned her not to make a noise

"Are we like thieves or something?" She gave me a confused look

"She might get alert you know"

"Aish you and your stupid ideas"

"Hey! Who are you calling stupid?" I spoke annoyingly

"You!"

"Don't forget that I have a higher GPA than yours , I got here on merit unlike you who got here on condition" I laughed

"Yea , you maybe have a higher GPA but your common sense is surely lesser than mine"

"What? What did you say?"

"Ssh lets go now." I heard her laugh as she made her way towards the door.

Y/n rang the bell as we waited for anyone to answer

"Who is it?"

"We are from Bangtan Investigation department! Please open the door otherwise we will have to break it off" I threatened

After a while , the door opened with a buzz sound as a lady in her late 50s opened the door

"I am jungkook and this is y/n and we are from Bangtan Investigation department. We want to see Ms Kate Carter."

"Sorry but she isn't here." She said looking down

"What do you mean she isn't ?" I shouted

"Relax jungkook , don't shout , maybe she isn't home"

"She is lying y/n , I am sure she is somewhere inside." I forcefully pushed the gate open and got inside

"Ya jungkook what are you doing? Don't you have any sense of privacy?" She complained

"Shh" I kept my hand on her mouth as I stared in her eyes

"Don't speak any further , let me do my work , you are just annoying me ." Letting out my frustration , I took off my hand before proceeding further.

She seemed to understand what I said because after that she didn't say anything and followed me along.

"Kate Carter , kindly come out from wherever you are hiding ! Otherwise we know many ways to force you out ." I pointed out my gun as y/n did the same

" 5 , 4 , 3 , 2.." I counted

"Okay okay I am here" she finally got out from behind the sofa

"Hands up!" I ordered aa she followed my order

"I -I haven't done anything ."

"Yea! Your hiding says it all!" I shot with sarcasm as y/n put handcuffs around her
"You will have to come with us." I said in a demanding tone as we got out of the house and made our way towards the car

"But I swear I haven't down anything." She spoke once again as y/n forcefully got her inside the car.

"Whatever you have to say , say it afterwards." This time it was y/n who spoke.

Sorry for taking so long to uplaod , with all that has been going on in the World , it was all a mess ..
I was busy too in helping my mom with house work and then catching up with my studies.
