Part 1- I have changed now!

Jungkook's POV

*knock knock*

"Come in" i called out

The door opened and a familiar figure walked in

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I stood up from my seat as I finally recognised the person.

"Well! I ll be working with you in your upcoming case." She smiled

"WHAT?! NO WAYS Y/N ! You would be the last person I would want to work with."

"It's not like I am dying to work with you too! " she glared

"How did you even get here! You didn't even perform well in your finals!." I asked as I walked towards her.

"Well they took me on a condition! They said that if I win this case , they ll take me in." A smile of victory formed on her face.

"But-."

"Jungkook-ah!" In came jimin hyung

"Here you go! Boss told me to give this to you! They are handing over this case to you." He handed me a file

"What it is?" I opened the file

"Oh my!" My mind went blank for a second as I saw the name of the victim written on it

Nina Ryans

"Is this THE NINA RYANS!" I asked as I looked at him
"Yes she is THE NINA RYANS"

"That super model Nina Ryans?" I asked
"Yes her ! Didn't you see the news this morning?it all happened last night, when she went to attend a party." He sighed

"Anyways i ll see you later ." With that he left

Just as I was scanning the file , y/n took it from me

"What the hell!" I said as snatched it back from her
"I am in this case too. Let me have a look too." She snatched the file back from me and turned around

"Hey you!" I forcefully turned her around

"You have no choice jungkook! Your boss has already agreed." She hid the file behind her back .

"And by the way! Stop pretending. I know that you are overflowing with excitement right now.You must be on cloud nine." A sly smile appeared on her face as she opened the file

"What do you mean?" I asked in confusion

"I know that you have a crush on me ." She pouted

"Wait what?"

"Don't act! Sai told me."

That sai! I won't leave him..

"Are you delusional or something!"

"Stop lying now!"

"Okay well maybe I had once but that was years ago y/n! not anymore!" I told her Before continuing " I regret that a lot! I have no interest in a dumb girl . That was my immature self."

"Why? Because I rejected you!"

"No"

"It was just a dare that my friends told me to do."

"Oh don't lie Mr JEON jungkook! Just now you admitted that you had a crush on me ."

"Well okay you rejected me and I moved on.Can we stop this conversation now." I spoke completely irritated by the topic.

"Oh God ! I still remember how you used to be back then. Remember when jake and everyone threw water on you! It was sooo funny.You we're so ...." she started laughing

"I was so ... what?" I raised my eyebrows as I neared her

She looked taken a back as she moved back .

"I was ...?" I inched further close As I sat on the seat over there making her look at me in confusion.

"I am waiting for you to continue." I gave her a sharp gaze as she scanned my eyes ..

"I -." She stuttered on her words As I held her hand and pulled her making her land on my lap.

"J-j- Jung -kook!" She looked at me with surprise , her eyes practically popping out of her eye sockets.

Moving closer to her ear , I whispered in a husky yet low voice purposely

"I have changed now." My breath fanned her neck as the hair that stood on her neck didn't fail to get noticed by me.

A smirk formed on my lips as I looked at her confused and surprised state.

She suddenly stood up from my lap as she started fixing her dress..

"I - I have changed now." She imitated me not meeting my gaze.

"Hey did you just—."

"I- I am leaving now." Her voice still shaky because of the impact that I had given her just now , that said she opened the door and left.

Feeling completely victorious at what I had just achieved , a small laugh escaped my lips as I reopened the file....
