Chapter 8: Do you love your daughters and their AoE attacks?

'Race?'

With that question in mind my daughters got me off the table, grabbed my hands and started taking me somewhere.

My instinct tells me that it is the forest area of the castle.

"That is exactly where we are going, dear."

Says my darling, Nerinne, who is locking arms with me as we walk through the halls that lead to the teleportation gate where everyone can access said area.

"Race...race...with Father...so happy...fun...fun..."

"Race! Race!"

Our cute daughters say that as they keep pulling me, and Nerinne as consequence.

"Could it be that it is like what you play with the others? Ilya? Celesia?"

Asks Sylvie who is following us closely, and I can already see that others are joining in too.

Like Jules, Sam, Patricia and Josie.

They all smile at me, as if saying hello, when I glance towards them for a moment.

I can even see some relief in their eyes.

Seriously...me being all drowsy worried everyone.

"No...that is hide and seek...Sylvie sis."

"Different! Race is not Hide and Seek, Sylvie sis!"

They say while shaking their heads at the same time...they are that close as sisters! That makes me really happy!

"Me too, dear. Seeing these little details fill my heart with warmth."

Says Nerinne telepathically while smiling at our daughters.

"Ah! I see, I see...you are right."

Answers Sylvie while nodding and then smiling at them. And yes, my daughters refer to her as 'sis'.

They refer to almost all the maids in that manner, except for those they see as 'big sis'.

With that out of the way, I am curious about something.

"Why did you think it was the same thing, Sylvie?"

I ask.

I mean, hide and seek, is a completely different game and she has younger siblings so she should know about these games.

Heck, she must have played them herself.

"Well...I, how can I say it...?"

Hm? She seems to be thinking about it quite hard.

"It is different...? Yes, it is different from the game that I used to play with my siblings so..."

She is now tilting her head from one left to right with an awkward smile.

"Heh, yeah. You can say that again."

Interjects Sam while nodding and making a 'you are totally right' grin.

And even when she does that, she remains looking as an 'elegant' beauty.

She has cinnamon colored skin, light brown hair and dark green eyes. Her eyes have this strange allure that is difficult to explain...but it is there, and it is great. Maybe it has something to do with her being a Mystic Ranger? You know, with her bow, eagle eye and all?

"I can see why you would say that, too. It is certainly an unconventional form of that game."

Says Josie, the most 'sensei-like' of the maids, with her frameless rectangular glasses and her similar hairstyle to mine. Oh, and her hair has a sky-blue color.
