As the Absurd and part of her maids ventured deeper into the Lost Forest guided by a certain Arachne and Eresh Kur dealt with various envoys of the countries within the Alliance, Gabrielle and Bertia were at the research wing of the capital's main hospital. A place where many healers and medical professionals work together to improve the lives of everyone.

"Thank you for your words, Miss Gabrielle. But this is not solely the Kyrie Kingdom's achievement, this was a collective effort with experts from the allied countries. Without them it would have been impossible for us to break through the 15% limit."

Said the male ant-based insectoid that Gabrielle referred to as Professor Enn as he motioned his exoskeleton covered right hand at the window of one of the labs. His tired face still managed to smile at the sight of the various researchers working together there. They all wore robes that clearly identified them as healers or medical professionals, and yet they had subtle differences which identified them as people of other countries. They were in the middle of a presentation, the images which came out of a magical projector showed the various states of an injury made on artificial tissue and how it was healed with both the improved spells and the unimproved ones. It also listed their current objectives like improving [Precise Healing] too, other spells and the problems that needed to be dealt with to do so.

The one doing the presentation noticed not only Professor Enn but the two Maid Knights that accompanied him. The orc medic became nervous but Professor Enn signaled him to carry on. He then looked at the Maid Knights, the blonde one smiled at him with kindness and warmth while the orange haired one cheered for him by mouthing 'We're counting on you!' with a friendly smile through the window.

Said actions made the orc medic's motivation go through the roof, to the point that it almost seemed as if his eyes were on fire and surprised his coworkers. It is said that after that he gave the best presentation in the history of medical presentations and the energy with which he did it spread throughout the team bringing in more results, but that is a story for another time.

Back to Gabrielle's side of the window, Bertia joined the conversation as they started to move once again.

"Boring politics aside, this is the reason for the Alliance, to help each other out by working together. It is great that you guys were able to continue your research despite everything that happened. Right?!"

Gabrielle wanted to say something along the lines of 'Those boring politics are important too, Bertia. Leader will put you to work with her if you keep underestimating them' but stopped herself thinking that that might not be a bad idea. So, she only smiled.

Professor Enn chuckled at Bertia's words, which made his antennae move in response too, and then he nodded.

"Indeed, the Alliance is truly a blessing. We can focus on what really matters while working as the siblings that we all are."

His tone then changed to a more complicated one, if a bit somber.

"But yes, Hilde Val's true allegiance was something that took us all by surprise. She had been working with us from the very beginning not only in this project but on various others. There was a moment where I was afraid that all that work would be thrown away since her contributions could not be trusted. More so after your Master's report..."
