Many people gathered outside the main gates of Galafad, the capital of the Kyrie Kingdom.
From civilians, to merchant and diplomatic convoys.
Some came on foot, others on beast-drawn carriages and some more in mana powered vehicles.
Still, it could be said that all of them shared the same reason to be there.
One that is important to them on various levels depending of their position.
An event that will kickstart a new era for the Kyrie Kingdom.
Indeed, that is what the coronation of a new queen means.
Thus, it should be no wonder that the capital would be filled to the brim with eager visitors from all over the allied nations.
"Please, no cutting in line!"
"Sir! Sir! Full item and personal inspections are mandatory! Regardless of status! Yes! Even if it is only a big wooden horse!!"
"The gates still count as part of the Capital! Please refrain from selling your products unless you have the special permit!"
That also meant that the guards and gate keepers were at full capacity going over the vast quantity of people that had come to witness such important event.
This scene could be seen on all the gates that surrounded the capital.
"Hey! You! Yes, you! We have a line for those who come flying! Please, don't try to act smart or you will not only get a fine, but you will also crash into the barrier!"
*SLAM*
"AJKJSBDJSBD—!"
*THUD*
*tsssss*
"*siiiiiiiigh* For Goddess sake... Geoffrey, go get that idiot to a healer...and then fine them."
"On it, Sir."
It was to the point that one could even see various volunteers from different organizations within the Kingdom helping with the various gates of the Capital and its public teleportation circle inside of it.
From Knights of the various orders like the Twilight Shield, to private noble forces like the Pyr Household's Capital Defense Force, and even retirees that were once guards and knights.
Of course, maintaining a tight security was another of their duties.
But in the end, all of them had one thing in mind.
To welcome the new era of the Kingdom in the best way possible.
They could not fail.
They had to show the world that the dark times of the Kingdom were a thing of the past.
That change was coming.
That the filth that had dared try and poison their Kingdom had failed.
And those were thoughts of the citizens too.
One only needed to look around its bustling streets and stalls.
This was a time of celebration and great expectancy.
But not everyone shared the same enthusiasm as them and the citizens inside those walls.
No.
Absolutely not.
And one of those people appeared seemingly out of nowhere in the middle of the crowded road that led to the main gate.
Its figure was covered completely by what it seemed to be a chromatic cloak and a hood that shined with different colors as the light fell on it.
