I am currently just watching at the empty hallway where Sylvie ran off.
I know that leaving her alone is for the best...still...
I can't help but feel bad...you know?
*SMACK*
"Don't make that face, Master! She'll be fine!"
"Are you saying that as her teacher, Kris?"
I reply to Kris who got out of the ceremonial room along with everyone else and is now patting my back on a friendly manner.
Although, the strength she is using might hurt a normal person, you know?
Oh well, I can take it.
"Nah, come on, Master. Everyone has experienced that at least once, right? Those doubts or being frustrated. So, she'll either give up or keep on fighting."
She says so as she smiles like she always does.
And well, she is not...wrong.
Everyone has doubts.
It is a part of life.
And a very important one at that, dear.
Because it can bring about change to one's life and change in and on itself could be considered as the essence of living.
Now, aren't we getting a bit philosophical here, darling?
Although, Kris doesn't seem like one who would get doubts.
She always seems more like one who would just go headfirst towards everything. No doubts. No frustration.
"Why do you look surprised, Master?"
"No, it is just that you seem well-versed about this."
She looks at me and then she starts laughing in response to my words.
"Hahahaha! You could say that, Master! I have lots of sisters, and I trained a fair bit of people, so I saw it happen lots of times! Now, let's go, Master! We have a fight to watch!"
"Very well."
I say as we both turn around and start walking towards the training room with everyone.

The girl kept running.
Ignoring the people calling out to her.
She knew that they were worried about her after seeing the state she was in.
Still, she just kept running.
Sweat running down her forehead and her breathing turning heavy.
Their light could not reach her, for she was locked inside herself.
The same feelings went on inside her mind time and time again.
Disgust.
Anger.
Shame.
Doubt.
Reason.
Turning into a bitter and intoxicating cocktail of self-deprecation.
Making her feel lost.
"This is..."
And yet...she found the way towards the place she needed the most.
The place that reminded her of her home the most.
She had returned to the forest area.
