The Abyssal Feaster recently renamed as Taco found itself flying away at top speed after slithering away of what was now its Boss' territory.
Taco's newfound emotions were as forceful as the others.
It had no choice but to feel scared of the one it called Boss.
That fear reached down to the very core of its being.
Still, it hungered.
'I MUST FEAST! I MUST! I MUST! I MUST!'
A monster's hunger was not only for flesh or blood, but for negative emotions.
And it had been robbed from the possibility of doing so by the Absurd at that time.
'I HAVE TO GET FARTHER AWAY! FARTHER! I CAN STILL FEEL HER GAZE!'
Indeed, despite the great distance that there was between them, the eyes of the Absurd could be said to still be behind Taco.
Fear.
Hunger.
Those two emotions cycled between each other until...
"Hsss...? (This smell...)"
...something reached its senses.
A familiar scent reached the tip of its bifid tongue and its nose.
One that filled its lungs and made Taco salivate.
Its eyes looking at the direction where the scent originated.
If Taco could smile, it would have done so right there and then.
"HSSSSSSSSSS! (PREY! PREY FAR ENOUGH!)"
With the scent as Taco's guide, it took a turn and followed it.
"HSSSSSSSS! (SO MUCH PREY! A FEAST!)"
The more it processed the smell, the more it told Taco about its prey...no, its preys.
For they were seven distinct smells.
A group of people.
You could even call them...a company.
