The Deus Urbs.

A place both inside and outside of time and space.

It is everywhere and nowhere.

Indeed, such is the place where the divine realms of the gods and the gods themselves congregate.

Gods of Art.

Gods of the Hunt.

Gods of Fire.

Gods of Justice and Law.

And many, many more.

But no matter what they favor, they all are, at their core, Gods of Creation.

For they all create and care for their own worlds.

Although, the way a God cares for said creation is unique to each and every one of them.

Some might simply watch and let their creations move completely free.

While others intervene and guide their creations in every single move they take.

Of course, there are more ways than those.

None are correct.

All are correct.

But even then...a God can err.

Sometimes such thing can bring up something normally unthinkable to the being that is a god, growth.

And such growth can elevate a god to a place of superiority even among gods.

A place where they can watch the realms of other gods or the gods themselves without those observed being aware of it. In most cases.

Such a god is called an Old God.

And one of them, an Old Goddess of War and Fertility, was walking along the infinite halls of the Deus Urbs.

Her way of walking was one full of pride and confidence.

Her golden hair swayed with every step she took, while her sharp ruby eyes never lost sight of her goal.

Indeed, not even when...

"Oh! If it isn't Isharnnat! What a surprise! Did another mortal soul escape your hands? Or are you looking for another prey to run after?"

"Kaka! No but it seems you are offering yourself for the position with such words, right?"

"...! Ah! Err...no..."

"Thought so."

...another fellow god tried to make jest of a certain happening that involved her and the Absurd.

Still, she did not even look at the god who spoke to her and why would she? That was not the god whom she wished to talk to.

And besides, a mere change of her tone was all that she needed to make said god stop in its tracks and be silent.

Turning him into the joke of the other gods who were observing the exchange between them.

Thing that Isharnnat simply ignored and kept on walking.

And as she walked, many other gods did the same, coming and going from their respective divine realms. Sharing their experiences, playing, and doing many more things.

Such scene was normal.

Such scene would always occur.

And she was part of it, for she was going to another's divine realm.
