(Y/n POV)
Few days later...
'How many days have passed? All I can remember is pain... and the faint smell of winter...'
I open my eyes, feeling the brightness shoot into them. I blink slowly over and over slowly, trying to adjust to the situation around me.
'That's right... I got stabbed and got my bones broken... Am I dead?' My mind continues to wander to different conclusions, 'No if I was dead then I wouldn't feel pain...'
My vision then begins to clear up; my focus adjusting to the brightness of the lights surrounding me. The strong smell of antiseptics and other solutions for cleaning fill my nose as I begin to properly regain my conscious. The pain in my left arm and ribs becoming more profound as I realise where I am.
'A hospital... I guess they got me here quick enough,' I slowly begin to raise myself from the hospital bed, making sure to make only small movements.
A nurse then opens the sliding door of her room and notices I'm awake, leading her to press a button to call for the doctor as she sits down in front of me.
"It's good you woke up. May I ask a few questions?" She questions kindly.
I nod and she smiles and asks, "Do you know your full name and what school you attend?"
"Tsukishima (Y/n), I'm a first year attending U.A Highschool," I manage to utter out of my throat; my voice still very quiet and weak.
"How about before this, do you remember what you were doing before this?" She writes down on her notepad.
"I was fighting in U.S.J, got stabbed, passed out...!" My eyes widen as I remember a valuable piece of memory, "What about my teacher?! Aizawa Shoto!"
"He's stable. He'll be recovering for the next few days but he's alright," The nurse happily informs me, "Worrying about your teacher before yourself... Very hero-like Ms. Tsukishima."
I laugh quietly and try to scratch the back of my head with my right arm, "I mean I feel pain but it's probably fine right?"
Chuckling lightly, the nurse flips her pages and then says, "You had a hairline fracture on your left wrist and a broken ulna, some broken ribs and a impalement on your left side. You luckily missed any vital organs so we were able to fix you up in a surgery. Your quirk also seemed to have helped you with the repairing and recovery process so it shouldn't take too long for you to get out of here."
I sigh and lean back into the hospital bed while looking at the ceiling, "How many days was I here for?"
The doctor then comes in and the nurse stands up and hands him the clipboard containing the various pages of information, "You've been here for 2 days. If you're wondering about school, don't worry about it. Your class got the rest of the week off and right now it's Saturday."
"Thank you for every Doctor and Nurse... You guys, and everyone in the emergency department, saved my life; I am grateful," I bow my head down slightly to show my gratitude.
"It's our job to do this. Ah right I called your parents as soon as I heard you woke up; they should be here in a few hours," The Doctor continues to write more things on to the clipboard.
My eyes sparkle at their dedication to their job, reminding me of my parents who love their jobs as scientists. They tell me more things that happened during the fight as U.S.J; how All Might defended me, how Bakugou carried me, and how Todoroki brought me to safety.
They also point out for me the many presents I was gifted from my classmates as a way to show their concern and wishes for me to get better. Laying at the table next to me, the gifts range from fruits to toys along with many cards which all say 'get well soon' at the very front.
