A strong wind swirled through the curtains in the room, lightly stirring my hair. I didn't know what was worse, Zion being possessed or the presence of a mythological being.
I tried to control my sporadic heartbeat. Shouldn't Zeus be in Olympus -- his home? And if he's here, what about the other greek gods?
I peeked at the door -- my only route of escape. It'll be best if I don't provoke him; he seems to have a temper. "How did you get here?"
He smiled and sighed deeply, rubbing his chin as he thought to himself. "To be honest, I don't know." The god turned on his heels and observed the moonlit room. "One moment, I felt nonexistent. And now...I do."
He slowly pivoted back to me and continued. "But there are some good sides to this. I finally get to meet you in person. A human, a liability. Someone with minor abilities and yet very dangerous. Pandora shouldn't be alive."
Right then, every nerve in me snapped to attention. It took me seconds to determine his next intentions. And judging from the way he called me by Pandora, I knew what he wanted. He wants to kill me. But why?
"I can tell your mind is churning," he said with a small smile. "Always so curious."
I pressed my back against the wall, trying to maintain a safe distance. But it could only do so much. "I'm not a danger to anyone. I'm only a high school student."
