I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and stared down at the sandy beach.

People in groups of seven sat languidly around campfires.

Three to be exact.

They chattered away as one group roasted marshmallows over the fire. The second group had a girl who skillfully strung her guitar to a fine-tune. The last group was giggling to an interesting conversation.

The night was chilly and the trees rustled with every breeze that wafted our way.

"Took you guys long enough."

Pedro, Gwen, Liam, and I simultaneously turned to Zion. He leaned against his car with his arms crossed.

Eros stood by his side. He busied himself with selfies. Not even sparing us a glance.

Zion frowned in disgust when he noticed Pedro's attire. "What are you wearing?"

Pedro displayed a full smile. His arm rested on my shoulder before pulling me to his side. "It's called fashion."

He wore a baggy white cotton shirt -- with sleeves overlapping his wrists-- and dark jeans. It looked good on him.

As always.

Zion frowned. "I can see your outline through that shirt. You do know it'll be chilly tonight, right?"

Pedro shrugged. "I have a thing for loose shirts bro."
