Ever since Leon was little, you had been the one to attend those dreadful and boring parent-teacher meetings every month. Thankfully, this time Lena was with you.

The meeting was to show the parents how well their students were doing in math and for the teachers to see if their parents could help their kids.

After working through several of the problems and having other kids names being called, it was finally Leon's turn.

At this age, Leon was still dealing with a lot so he was a little shy. He just stayed quiet and turned to look at you and Lena. The teacher used it as a sign and decided to ask you.

"Mrs. Luthor, if Leon has 10 pancakes and he ate 3, how many will he have now?"

You scoff and look over at Leon before answering.

"None."

Some of the students and parents laugh except for the one family that you hated. The dad decided to speak up.

"Jesus, you don't how to math?"

You roll your eyes at him, not in the mood to deal with his attitude.

"You don't know my son."

It took everything in Lena to not pull you out of the meeting by the ear. As much as she hated to admit it, it did make her laugh a little
