You Both Reconnect (Jungkook)

You and Jungkook were best friends when you both were younger. You were always an odd one out but Jungkook was the first kid to approach you and talk to you. You both did almost everything together. As you got older you both got closer. Once Jungkook entered into BigHit you saw less of him...he moved to Seoul.

You both tried to keep in touch and even though it was difficult it was maintainable. As the years ho by you both lose connection. You kept up with BTS and you were so proud of Jungkook. You missed seeing your best friend though. You missed his singing and you missed his hugs.

Many more years go by and he was so successful within BTS. He has been soaring high and was able to overcome all of his obstacles. You on the other, it was hard copping. Not only did you lose your best friend but you haven't been on the best side of life. Things kept coming up, college was stressful, your job paid very little and you were becoming very discouraged.

One day you finally decide to move on with your life because clearly Jungkook has. You muster up all of your emotions and you write a letter and then place it in an envelope. You save up enough money to go to one of their concerts.

On the day of the concert, you dress in  all black and you put your black mask on and pull it over your nose. You feel your heart sink as you were driving to the stadium. You didn't want to let him go but you knew it was for the greater good. You were positive he wouldn't even recognize you.

You get to the huge stadium and you decide to go to the restroom. Getting lost you wander around when you hear male voices heading your way. You pull your mask down to ask whoever it was where the restroom was when you spot him. Jeon Jungkook walking with Kim Namjoon. You quickly pull your mask up and when they take notice Namjoon says something to Jungkook before walking over to you.

"Are you lost?" Namjoon asks calmly and you nod.

"I just need to know where the restroom is." You say and he nods and looks around.

"Go back where you were talking from and there should be one on your...left" He says thinking and you thank him with a small bow and you notice Jungkook staring at you like he was trying to figure something out.

"O-oh um, Jungkook-oppa, here" You say quickly and pull out the envelope and you hand it to him and he takes it with a thank you. You bow and turn around and walk back, tears threatening to fall. As you walk further away, you couldn't help but cry. You whimper and wipe your tears when you hear Jungkook yell out wait.

Your breath gets hitched and you instantly freeze in your spot and you look back and see him jogging up to you.

"Please pull your mask down." He says and you hesitantly do as he says. He studies your face before covering his mouth.

"(Y/N)? Could it be?" He asks and you look down with a nod.

"Why are you saying goodbye?" He asks sadly and you look up at him and meet his eyes.

"We've grown apart Jeon Jungkook. You...you're an idol while I'm...I'm just barely making it. After we lost contact everything went bad. I don't blame you because I want you to do what you want to do. It has been hard for me to cope and...I come to the realization that we're at two different levels. " you explain and he looks down at the letter.

" I can give you my number. I have been missing you. You are my best friend, how could I not miss you? If you allow me, I promise to be the best best friend you can ever have " He smiles and you smile at the thought.

"Jinjjayo?"

"Ne." He says and holds his arms out and you hug him and he hugs you tightly.

"I missed you (Y/N)"

"I missed you too Jeon Jungkook."
