Heart Break (Jimin)

You were always a lowkey insecure person. Once you and Jimin started dating it got worse. Everyone wanted Jimin. Jimin was such a friendly and loveable person, you don't blame why everyone loved him. The only thing was, you didn't want him to return the feelings. You never expressed this to him though, afraid he might tell you that it already has.

When he told you that BTS was collaborating with Halsey you were fine, until you realized that mean a whole music video and a lot of interactions together. You were with them when they first met and you saw an instant connection between the two.

You knew you couldn't handle it so you left. You didn't want to watch. Your thoughts would have taken over. Once at your house, you get a text from Jin asking if you were okay. You respond with a yes and you set your phone face down and lay in your bed. You weren't okay.

For the next months you watch Halsey grow close to Jimin. The two would text each other and Jimin would even ask you for help with translations and you helped. It broke your heart watching him get excited over her.

You were sitting in a dance practice when Jimin was telling her to look at him. They both got really close and you wouldn't have known you had tears fall if Suga hadn't have handed you a tissue while drinking water.

"Oh no no, I'm okay" You sniff and wipe your eyes.

"Take it." He says and you gently take the flimsy tissue and before you knew it, more tears fall. A whimper escapes your lips and you cover your mouth as you get up and walk out the room, your head low.

You stood in the women's restroom hovering over the seat as you cry. The feeling of disconnection from your long term boyfriend was causing a heavy pain in your heart. You heave as you continue to cry, not even daring to look in the crystal clear mirror right in front of you. You hear a door open and you see Halsey walk in.

"Hey are you okay?" She asks and you didn't mean to be rude but you couldn't stand being in the same room as her.

"I'm fine." You say and wipe your on going tears and brush past her, slightly bumping shoulders with her as you swing the door open and walk out.

On your way out the building, Taehyung was walking heading your way. You try to walk by him but he didn't let you pass. He tightly wraps his arms around you. You try to get out of his grip only causing him to hug tighter. You break down in his arms as it felt as if everyone but Jimin saw your pain.

"Don't cry." He says and rubs your back. He let's go and uses his hands to cup your cheeks and his thumbs to wipe your tears.

"Please?"

"I need to go Tae..." You say quietly and he let's you go.

"Are you okay enough to dri-"

"I'll be fine."

You head home and cry as soon as you walk through the door. Luckily you didn't move in with Jimin so you were fine. As you laid on your couch you hear the door open and you sigh, remembering Jimin had a spare.

"Jagii" He sings as he skips to you.

"Jimin please sit." You say and he says a chirpy okay and sits next to you.

"Wait have you been crying?" He asks and you sigh and lean against the couch arm away from him.

"I think we should break up. I don't think we should be together anymore." You say and his smile instantly changes.

"No no, I don't want to break up. Why?"

"Jimin, I...the way you and Halsey interact. It's more than business. The way you act when she talks and plays and texts you...it's the same when it was me if not more. I know you Park Jimin." You say and a tear rolls down his cheek.

"N-no." He whispers and you nod.

"You've been so enticed in her you forgot all about me. I'm sorry. Please...please leave the spare key here and I'll gather all the things you've given me and I'll have someone come get it, but for now I don't think is a good time for us.."×You say and he starts to cry as he slowly stands up.

Realizing you were right, he cries and walks to the door, apologizing. You whisper saying you saw it coming and as soon as he was gone, you allow all the pain out. You needed to love him to love yourself. The next day Taehyung and Suga stop by. It was a silent ordeal. They came to get Jimin's things and they wished you well and said they were only a text away. With that, you start your long process of healing.

You and Jimin were dating for 4.5 years...
