You were on skype with Jimin doing your homework while he was on tour. He was quietly singing Serendipity while you worked. You both were very close and since you spoke Korean fluently and he was still learning English, there wasn't really a language barrier between the two of you.
"Why won't you love me like I love you?" He asks and you stop working, his question catching you off guard.
"Who says I don't?" You ask and continue to work, avoiding his gaze that you felt and he sighs.
"(Y/N) I miss you." He says and you smile at the memories you both had when you were studying abroad in Korea.
"I miss you too." You say and he continues to sing and you continue to work. As you work you couldn't help but be distracted by his question. You loved him and you knew he loved you just as much but you were scared.
You weren't scared of Jimin but you were scared of time. What if over time he finds someone better. What if over time he grows tired of you. You didn't want to lose your best friend.
"Let me love you." He sings and you let out a quiet sigh.
"Jiminie" You say and he hums in response.
"I'll let you love me." You say quietly and look up at him finally to see him smiling.
