You were quite the singer. Many people knew you. You were famous but you didn't consider yourself famous. Many places asked you to preform at when events would happen. You were booked at a festival in New York. You heard Lizzo was going to be there so you decided to sing one of her songs in the mix of your songs.
Once time came around it was already dark and the crowd was at it's peak. You shake off all of your jitters and head out onto the stage and start your set. As you sang the ones who knew your songs sang along. You spot Lizzo and feel your nerves rise but you didn't let it show as you continued. When you sing the first lyric you hear Lizzo yell and confidence was boosted. As you sang you noticed a face you didn't think you'd see. Park Jimin of BTS. You wink at him and he smiles as you continue to sing.
As you sing further into the song you make your way down into the crowd. Two security guards stand beside you. To get to Lizzo you had to go past Jimin. Since he has always been your crush you might as well do something.
"I'm crying, 'cause I love you. Yes you." You sing as you gently grab his jaw looking him deep into his eyes before winking, causing him to blush.
You give out high fives as you make it to Lizzo who was jumping in excitement. You take her hand and make your way back to the stage and you both sang the rest of the song together. The crowd erupts and you both take a bow.
"We wish you a happy birthday Lizzo." You end it and she hugs you tightly before getting escorted back stage.
You head back stage and sit down to take a drink of water you were praised for your amazing performance. As you and Lizzo were talking you feel a presence and you look over to see Jimin and his manager. You stand up and smile. Lizzo says she'll be back later and you nod. She waves at Jimin and he gives a friendly wave back.
"You did amazing." Jimin smiles and you place your hands in front of you.
"Thank you so much. I hope you didn't mind the contact." You say and his manager translates and Jimin shakes his head.
"No no no. I liked it." He says blushing and you smile.
"Can we, uh...talk?" He asks and you motion to the empty seat in front of you.
The two of you spoke, with the help of his manager but it was not a problem at all. You caught his attention and that's exactly what you wanted.
