Personal Take of the lore of the W.L.O.

Hullo Alterline! So this is my take on the origin of Watchers, Listeners, and Observers origins. Entirely up to you if you think this will work correctly.

W.L.O. stands for 'Watchers, Listeners, and Observers.'

Enjoy.

Watchers. Deaf. But their eyes are the sharpest known to the worlds. They have to wear sunglasses.

Listeners. Blind. But their hearing is sharp enough to hear a whisper from nearly half a mile away. They have to wear hearing-aids.

They help each-other. You cannot find one without the other.

Then there are the Observers. They can hear. See. But they are entirely mute. Cannot laugh, talk, or whisper. They cannot make a single vocal noise. 

These are the loners. They often work on servers alone, such as mildly known 'MegaPVP' who has befriended the owner 'Skeppy'.

(Oi, if you get what I'm talking about, let me know. Its for my personal cannon on this subject.)

Grian, for example, uses a automated voice in some AU's. In others, he never talks.

In some, he isn't even a Observer. Just a Watcher. (Btw, these head-cannons are quite new, so you will not see the affect in older one-shots/stories.)

Now the origins. In my opinion, the three groups were started by the Void demons.

The Void demons, which inhabit, well, the Void. They created the three groups when it was announced that they would have to cut all ties with the overworlders, and they panicked, creating the first three of these groups.

Wyvren, like the dragon, who had a second form of the dragon, but pitch black with purple eyes.

Labbu, like the seasnake, who had a second form of a beautiful sea snake, but with aqua scales and blue eyes.

Ouruboros, forever cursed to keep his teeth around his flame red tail. (He sometimes gets breaks. He visits his siblings) 

Wyvren is temperamental, snappy, and the youngest. His forces started when he accidentally did a ritual while drawing in chalk when playing with his siblings, and he summoned what is now known as 'The Compass of the Watchers.' Very unoriginal, I know. But it tracks down future Watchers. 

Labbu is kind, caring, and the second eldest. Her forces started when a unfortunate seaman fell into her waters and lost all sight. But she saved him from death, granting him amazing hearing.

Ouruboros is cheerful, optimistic, and the eldest. His forces started when a player discovered the conduit, set it up wrong, and went mute while underwater. He took pity on the player, and granted him the powers of the now days Observers.

Now to today.

The siblings have gone into hiding, as the current Void demons and Nether demons wish to rid of them.

But their forces still operate silently. Then some are blessed by the siblings, and are possible inheritances of their powers when they cease to exist.

The most recent of which are triplets, all in hiding. They have normal lives, and some claim they are in well known servers.

Then lets wander to the corrupted parts of the forces. Evo, is a good example. Hungry with power, the Watcher and Listener of that world turned on the inhabitants and tried to blackmail the resident Observer, who was pretending to be a player.

This backfired, but the world was sadly lost.

And the Observer was left traumatized. The file is considered classified, and information is scarce.

And so we are finished.
