The bartended finally cut you off. You've been at the bar for most of the night, staring at the two women that were clearly on an anniversary date. There were so many emotions running through your mind that you didn't know how to feel. Drinking always brought out the worst in you. It's why you're been staring at the blonde for the longest time, thinking of how much you wanted to punch her in the face.

One day, you'll remember the girl who loved you so much that she forgot to love herself.

You remembered how Lena would always worry about you. She worried about your drinking habits. They usually led for you to get into fights. Every night, you would come to her with cuts and bruises littered all across your body. She stayed up every night until you would come home and sometimes you wouldn't even do so. Making her lose her sleep and affect her work. Her friends noticed her tired eyes and although they begged her to stop worrying about you, she ignored them. Telling them that it would pass as you were looking for help. She always had hoped that one day, you would finally stop drinking but you never did.

You'll remember her when you wake up when you eat when you're about to sleep. She will be your greatest nightmare.

Losing Lena brought you back to reality. You never thought you would lose her but yet you did. All because you had refused to deal with your alcoholic tendencies. It was incredibly hard to accept the fact that she was gone. You would never get to hold her in your arms again. That always broke you. You would cry in your bed every night. That's what you were precisely going to do as you made your way back do your apartment. Drink some more and hope that you would pass out without crying again.

One day, you'll regret losing her. You lost the girl who did everything for you. You lost the girl who was always there for you when no one else is. You lost her because of your ego. You lost the girl who stayed by your side even if you threw harsh words to her.

The fights the two of you had leading up to your break up were still fresh in your mind. You insulted her, you hurt her were it cut deep and you knew that you fucked up. Lena had always been insure over the fact that her last name was a Luthor and you took advantage of that. Telling her that she would end up like her brother. All of this started was because she had brought up going to a rehabilitation center.

You lost the girl who tried to understand you when she needed you and you were not there.

Even after insulting her, Lena still stayed. She understood why you drank. Your upbringing did not help your case at all and she knew it was a daily struggle. She just wished that just once, you would quit your drinking for the night and come with her to her galas. Lena needed you there. She needed someone to help her deal with the cruel worlds from the others and you were never there for her.

One day, you'll realize that she was the one for you.

Lena was the one for you, she was your soulmate. Seeing her on tv made your heart clench as you remembered what happened between the two of you. It was led for you to drink some more and it was just a vicious cycle overall.

The girl who stood by your side even if you don't appreciate her.

Lena would defend you from her friends. They would always insult you whenever you weren't around because they could see right thought you. You were never going to make an effort to better yourself. You were only bringing Lena down.

The girl you chose to let go because you're full of pride.

Lena begged and begged for you to get help. She didn't even care if she had to pay for it. All she wanted was for you to get better but you didn't care. As terrible as your parents were, you still didn't want them to be ashamed even more. They already had a gay daughter, it would be much worse if they learned that you were letting other people in on your problems. You were thought to never need anyone and that was precisely what you were doing. You didn't even want her help.

One day, you'll realize that the girl you screwed up and left for another woman, was the girl who kept on fighting and defending you when she hears gossips about you.

Lena's last straw was when she saw you and another woman kissing on the cover of a gossip magazine. She knew it was real. She could clearly remember the night that you had come home smelling like someone else'e perfume. It was embarrassing for Lena for the world to know that you had cheated on her. She could already hear all the gossip about how even a billionaire like her couldn't keep someone. To protect you and her reputation, Lena dismissed it. Getting her PR team to kill the story and change it. Lena was still protecting you even after you had broke her heart.

One day, you'll see her happy and contented with the life she have when you left her. She will thank you for letting her go and for making her realize she is worth something so much better, that there is someone out there who is willing to do everything for her, who's willing to fight for her.

Lena and Kara's first picture as a couple showed you everything that you needed to know. Lena was finally happy. She didn't look the same as when she was with you. She looked free. That was all thanks to Kara. The one that was truly there for her unlike you. She defended Lena when she heard her being insulted. She did everything that Lena wished you had done for her when you were dating.

She will look into your eyes with no feelings for you at all.

The first time you saw Lena in public, she didn't even recognize you. She just passed by you like if you were any other person. It killed you, Lena had truly moved on.

One day, when you see her, you will feel like you've been stabbed in your heart a million times for giving up on her. And when that day comes, no matter what you do, no matter what you say to her, it will not make sense because she was already done spending years of her life trying to make you love her as she loved you... But you didn't. I didn't.

You needed to talk to Lena, beg her to take you back. You tossed a wad of bills on to the counter and made your way over to their table.

"Lena?"

She glanced at you and then back to Kara. In an instant, Kara was standing between the two of you.

"You need to go."

"Lena, please. I need to talk to you."

You tried getting past Kara but she wouldn't budge as you tried to move her. She was a literal wall.

As Kara blocked you form reaching to Lena, Lena tossed some money on the table and stepped out of the booth.

"I don't have anything to say to you. Lets go Kara."

Lena took Kara's hand and began to make her way to the entrance of the restaurant. You tried to follow them out but Kara stopped you. She told Lena to head out to get the car from the valet while she talked to you. Lena didn't even give you a second glance as she pecked Kara's lips and then headed outside.

"You need help. Lena doesn't need someone like you in her life. I better not see you trying to claw your way back to her life. You know that she deserves better than that. If you still love her, leave her alone."

You couldn't bring yourself to follow her outside. Kara was right. Lena did not need you in her life.
