Summary: Continuation of part 1
Prompt by: ramtahal
After what happened, you couldn't go back to school. For the first couple of days, you pretended to be sick. Your mom ended up catching on to what was going on and began to question why you were missing. You couldn't really tell her it had been because you had kissed your teacher, so you just ended up telling her sort of the truth about the other students at school practically harassing you. She had been horrified to hear that no one had really done something and was even planning on going to the school about it. The only thing you could tell her was that Ms. Blackwood was the one that had helped you out. It calmed her down and that's when you decided to tell her about pulling you out of the school.
"I don't understand why you would want to leave, (y/n)."
"because, I can't always depend on Ms. Blackwood to get me out of trouble. I'm tired, mom. I'll get a job to afford a tutor so I can take my tests and I'll go to a regular school."
"(Y/n), the academy is the best there is. You're not going to learn the same thing you are with a tutor."
You shrug at her words. The spells and charms you had learned was because Ms. Blackwood had helped you with them or because you practiced them at home. Not because of your teachers at the academy.
"Are you sure that's what you really want, (y/n)."
"Yes, mom."
She sighs and nods.
"Alright. I'll call first thing in the morning then."
You gave her a smile and leaned in to kiss her cheek.
"Thanks, mom. I love you!"

Prudence was worried. She hadn't heard from you in almost a week. She had been thinking about going to your place in search of you but figured it would've been too weird if she had done that. The only thing Prudence knew was that you were at home sick. Which she knew was far from the truth after what had happened last Friday. She could still feel your lips against hers and couldn't deny the fact that she missed you. It was wrong of her to be thinking like this about a student. But then again you were already 19 and close to graduating. She shook her head and continued focusing on the paperwork that was in front of her.
She was just on the first paper when her phone rang.
"This is Prudence Blackwood."
"Ms. Blackwood, my name is (mom's full name). I wanted to call and let you know that I'm pulling my daughter out of the school. I've decided it would better benefit her to have a tutor and focus on her weak subjects."
Prudence broke the pen that she was currently holding.
"What was that?"
"I'm sorry. I just dropped my pencil. That's completely fine Mrs. (last name). I can have the paperwork ready for you in a hour. Will you be able to come in and sign it then?"
"I'm afraid not. I'm already on my way to work but I can stop by after. Will that be okay with you?"
"Yes, I'll be here until, 8PM."
"Great. I'll see you then."
"Goodbye, Mrs. (last name.)"
Prudence hung up, grabbed her things and left her office. She needed to talk to you.

The doorbell had been ringing for the past minute. You had at first ignored it, hoping they would go away but they didn't.
"Look I'm.. Ms. Blackwood."
Prudence smiles, happy to see that you were well.
"(y/n), you haven't been to school in a week."
"I've been sick."
She raises her eyebrow at you but doesn't say anything.
"May I come in?"
You look out the street, hoping there weren't any cameras to say it was a prank. Satisfied with the empty street, you opened the door wider and stepped back so she could come in. You lead her to the living room, motioning for her to take a seat.
"Would you like something to drink?"
"No, I'm only staying here a couple of minutes.'
You nod and motion for her to continue.
"I'm not going to deny the fact that I liked the kiss. I did. I really did. But it was wrong, (y/n). You're my student and I'm your teacher. I'm a position of power that if someone were to catch us, they'll think I'm taking advantage of you."
"But I'm not going to let us get caught. I can be really sneaky."
Prudence laughs and shakes her head.
"I know you can be, (y/n) but nothing can happen between us so long as you're my student."
"So, you're saying that there could be something between us when I graduate."
Not wanting to deny or confirm anything, Prudence just stands up and starts making her way out the door.
"I'm expecting you first thing in the morning on Monday. I'd hate for you to drop out of the academy because of me."
"Only if I can get another kiss."
"(Y/n)...."
Prudence was tempted to do so but knew it wouldn't be helpful. She just smiled and shook her head, making her way back to her car.
"Monday morning! Don't be late."
"I won't Ms. Blackwood!"
You waved her goodbye and headed back inside.
Later in the day, you had called your mom to let her know that you wanted to stay. She was relieved to hear you weren't going to leave and therefore didn't protest much about it.
Monday morning, you had arrived bright and early just as you had promised. Prudence was quite happy to see you back at her office for the daily tutoring sessions. The daily sessions were enough to be able to get the two of you by until you graduated so you were both free to date the other.
