You/Sansa Stark - Savior

Summary: You save her from King Joffrey

You grew up with Sansa. Always playing together and spending time with each other as the two of you grew up. Sansa would always either come to you whenever you were finishing your family duties or you would go to her whenever you were done with them. 

Having her as a friend was what made your life better. She was the one that helped you smile when your father passed away, the one who supported you when you decided to train with the soldiers from winterfell and the only one who cared about you. 

It's why to no one's surprise, you joined Sansa when Ned was called to become the Hand of the King. You mother had wanted you to stay with her as you were an only child but you couldn't. You promised to send her money as well as promised to stay safe in King's landing. The only reason why you had even decided to go was to make sure Sansa was safe with Joffrey. You could see right through him and even after he made Ned kill Sansa's direwolf, she wanted to see the best in him. 

There were times that Sansa could be so innocent and that's when you had to step in. Otherwise, they would take advantage of her just like Joffrey was doing. He was trying to impress Sansa with his title and it made your blood boil every time Sansa giggled at him. But you kept quiet, simply allowing her to gush about him every night. 

Things took a turn for the worse when Robert was killed. There were rumors that King Robert leaving the kingdom to Ned and you just knew that nothing good was going to come out of this. 

"Sansa, we need to leave. I've tried talking to your father but he refuses to listen. I've been around Cersei and Joffrey enough to know that they aren't going to let Ned take the throne."

"Nonsense, (y/n). Joffrey knows his father left the kingdom to father and he'll respect his fathers decisions."

"But Sansa.."

"Stop. I will not continue to allow you to talk about Joffrey. He's been nothing but kind to us. You should be grateful."

Never in your life had Sansa spoken to you like that and it hurt.

"Alright then. It's late and I must head back to my chambers."

Sansa knew she had gone too far when she heard the hurt in your voice. 

"Wait (y/n)...

"Goodnight Sansa."

You close the door behind her and rush to your chambers before Sansa could reach you. You hated how Joffrey had come between the two of you.

There's chaos in the morning. Men are running around the castle with news about how Ned had been attacked and was currently being dragged down to the cells. You panicked and rushed to Sansa's chambers hoping she was there.

"SANSA!! Open up!!"

There's nothing on the other side of the door. Your about to leave and suddenly you hear a muffled scream. Slamming the door open, you find Joffrey with his knife against Sansa's throat. 

"Let her go."

"Surprise, surprise. I thought I had ordered for them to kill you."

"Your men are weak, just like you!"

You baited him, hoping he would let Sansa go and attack you.

"You're never going to be the king your father was because you're weak."

"Shut up!"

He yells to you. Sansa is panicking as she hears him yell at you.

"Listen to him, (y/n)."

She tells you but you ignore her. Your priority was to get her to safety. 

"You're nothing but a fraud, Joffrey. All you are is momma's boy.!"

That seems to do the trick as he rushes towards you with his knife. 

"GO! Get out of here!"

You tell Sansa before Joffrey starts to fight you. It's an even match between the two of you. However, you're far stronger and much more skilled at fighting that it doesn't take long for you to gain the upper hand. You're so close to winning when Joffrey decides to do a cheap shot and stab you with his other knife in your stomach. 

Sansa gasps and watches as Joffrey simply pushes you off, making the knife go further in as you roll over. 

"(y/n)!"

In her fit of anger, Sansa grabs her sword and stabs Joffrey, completely catching him by surprise. She had never done anything like it but she was running on adrenaline now. 

"Y..you stabbed me."

Seeing that he's still alive she takes out the knife inside of him and slits his throat, like she had seen her father do so many times. She watches his body slump forward as he loses his life.

"S..Sansa."

"Oh god, (y/n)."

She sits down besides you, gently placing your head on her lap.

"It's going to be okay, father will come for us and make sure you're taken care of. You're going to live, (y/n). We're going to grow older together."

You're holding on to your wound, wanting to stop the bleeding to just spend a little more time with her. Even if Sansa went out to get help, no one would be able to do so. Joffrey had hit you in a critical area. You look up to her, cupping her cheek with your hand. 

"You're going to grow older, Sansa. You're going to become the Queen that you so well deserve."

Sansa could see you were slowly dying. 

"NO! NO! I never even to got to steal a kiss or tell you how I feel. I can't lose you, (y/n)."

She leans down to kiss you, making you smile. 

"I always knew you loved me."

Sansa can't bring herself to smile at your words. The one she loved the most was dying.

"Please! Stay with me. I..I can't lose you."

You gave her a smile.

"You're going to become the greatest queen this land has ever seen, Sansa. I love you and just know I'll be watching over you."

You whispered to her as you run out of breath. 

"(Y/n)! (y/n)!"

Sansa pulls you in to hug you as she cried for you. She was never going to forgive herself for this.
