"Rao! Lena is going to be so mad."
Kara mumbled as she used her freeze breath to put out the fire and then flew up to reach the fire alarm that had not stopped ringing since she pulled out the burnt bread. As the flames were finally extinguished, Kara groaned loudly as she took notice of the fact that the bread was not edible. This was certainly going to ruin their anniversary date unless she found someone that was able to whip up something real quickly. She scrolled through her contacts and dialed Nia's number to ask about any bakeries in town.
"So I burnt the cake that I made for Lena and I can't start new one because I still need to get ready for our date. Is there anyway you can help?"
"I'm kind of busy with a deadline but! I do know someone that owns a bakery shop. I'll send you the address. She owe's me a favor so she'll do the cake for you. I'll let her know that you're own your way."
"Thank you! You're a life savor, Nia. I can't thank you enough."
"Yeah, yeah. Hurry up."

Kara doubled checked the name of the bakery before stepping inside.
"Hello?"
You heard the bell ring and soon enough a voice called out for someone. Wiping you hands on your apron to get rid of the flour, you headed to the counter to find the blonde woman that Nia had called about.
"Kara?"
Kara seemed out of it for a second and then snapped back to reality.
"That's me! I'm assuming that Nia called you already."
"She did! Let me know what kind of cake you need and I'll have it ready for you within the hour. I'll even deliver it for you since I don't want you to get in trouble with your girlfriend."
"That's quite alright. I live close by."
"That's perfect! I'll drop it off then. No more arguing about it."
You pulled out a pen and paper to start taking her order. Kara had explained that she just wanted a simple cake with the words 'Happy Anniversary' at the top and a cake flavor that her girlfriend loved.
"Okay, that should be it. I'll have your cake ready in an hour. I'll just need your address."
Kara tried to argue with you about the dropping off but you were having none of it. In the end, she gave you her address and headed out of the ship.
When Nia had called you to let you know about her friend's dilemma you had assumed it was just going to be another regular costumer walking through the doors. You hadn't expected for a fucking model to be walking through your days. The only thing stopping you from even attempting to flirt with her was the fact that she had a girlfriend .

Lena smiled in amused as Kara yet again looked to her watch to check the time.
"Darling, is there something you're waiting for or what's going on."
