Summary: You can't wait to marry Saskia

Saskia was a complete fucking badass. She wasn't afraid to do whatever it was necessary to get her way and that was hot as hell. As a result of her badassness, she was quite good at her job. Saskia was constantly getting requested by clients that knew about her successful percentage rate. You were proud of her and all the effort she went through to be where she is now. 

"I'm not sure if I should go to this party, (y/n). I don't think I'll be able to handle the fact that Alex might get partner with the firm."

She confides in you. You placed your makeup brush down and walked over to where she was standing. You stood behind her, wrapping an arm around her waist and letting your chin rest on her shoulder. 

"Stop. You're not doing this again, Saskia. You're a fucking badass. You've worked too hard to be where you are now and there's no way that Alex will be beat you for the partner position. You're far more successful and most of the clients from the firm prefer you."

She sighs and looks at you through the mirror. 

"What about what I did for Olivia? I lied to one of my clients to be able to use that money for her."

"Yes, it was bad but they weren't going to miss that money. Olivia needed it to get through her treatment and you were looking out for her. Besides, you already paid it back. I don't see what the problem is."

"What if the firm finds out about it? I'll be screwed and what am I going to do if they take my license to practice law."

You leaned over to kiss her cheek.

"You worry too much Saskia. It's a miracle that you haven't had a breakdown from all that worrying you do. The firm is not going to find out. I covered your tracks that no one would be able to trace the money back to you. You're in the clear."

Saskia nods and turns around in your arms to kiss you.

"Thank you."

"Mhm. Now lets finished getting ready. We can't have you arriving late to the partner."

She grins and continues to finish up the last of her makeup as you do as well. Not long after, you're driving to the banquet hall where the party is being held. 

The part is in full swing when you both arrived. Saskia had introduced you to all her colleagues while you both walked around the room. It was annoying having to pretend to be happy around these men and women as you knew they all cared about the money but you continued to smile for Saskia. 

An hour into the party and soon enough owner of the firm calls fro everyone's attention.

"Now, I know that most of you are just here for the food and so I wanted to make this quick so everyone can enjoy themselves. After careful consideration with my partners, we have made a decision with who we will be making partners today."

Someone hands him a small box. He searches through the room and stops when he spots Saskia. His smile widens and he motions for her to come over. 

"Babe!" You whispered loudly to her. "He's calling you."

"Me?!" 

"Yes, you! Now go"

Saskia finish her drink and hands the empty glass to you. 

"Lets all have a round of applause for our newest partner, Saskia de Merindol! All her hardworking at the firm has paid of and we couldn't be happier with our choice."

You start clamping and whistling loudly 

"THAT'S MY WIFE!!!"

Saskia gives you a wide smile before giving a small thank you speech. She hugs the other partners of the firm and makes her way over to you. 

"I knew it! I told you they were going to make you partner. Congratulations, baby!"

You pull her into a kiss and a hug.

"Did you really mean the wife part earlier?"

She asks as soon as you pull back.

"Of course, I did. I want to marry you Saskia. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can't picture my future with anyone else."

Saskia pulls you in for another kiss.

"Good because neither can I."

You look around the room, finding that people were already heading out. 

"Now lets go home and properly celebrate you becoming partner."
