You/Margot Robbie - Drunk Night Part 2

Summary: An ex tries to break the two of you up.

You were close to your one year anniversary with Margot when the two of you broke up. Part because of Margot and part because of you. Margot's abusive ex had resourced and had been saying a lot of things on twitter that were deemed threats by the police. Margot wanted to keep you safe and decided the best way to keep you safe was to break up with you. You didn't want to. You begged Margot that it would be better to not pay him any attention as you both had bodyguards and police watching out for him but she refused. Saying that she wasn't going to take any chances. She still had nightmares from what he had done to her and didn't wish for the same to happen to you.

Margot regretting breaking up with you that very same night. She had missed you so much and it had only been an hour. She wanted to call you up and tell her to forgive her for not taking into account what you had said but it had been done. She had broken up with you to keep you safe and wasn't going to take back what she had done. 

Police had both of your house under 24/7 surveillance. You barely left the house so there was really no need for you to have bodyguards. Margot only had them because she needed to attend some events but other than that, the two of you stayed at home.

The man kept watching Margot's place from afar. He hated how Margot had instantly called for help. He missed it when she didn't do anything, guess he was going to have to do this the hard way. He grabbed his gun and walked out of his car. A couple of agents had tagged his vehicle to be placed under radar and when they realized who it was, they jumped out of their cars and arrested him. 

Margot had been so relieved to hear that they had arrested her ex. She wanted to call you and tell you the goods news but then remembered your last conversation. You had told her that there was no point in really being together if she didn't confide in you.

Ellen took notice that Margot wasn't as happy as before. She wanted to stop the interview from proceeding but Margot kept claiming that she was fine. 

"So Margot, we're all glad that you're okay and that the man is finally under lock and key. You had all the country worried about your safety. How are you doing?"

Margot looked down at the ring you had given her and then back to Ellen. This was going to be her only way of telling you how sorry she was and that she wished for the two of you to get back together. 

"I have to be honest, Ellen. I was quite paranoid. I couldn't really sleep nor go out. It was like my life had been taken away from me. But I was more scared for (y/n). I didn't want for him to hurt her. She's the love of my life. I couldn't even imagine what I would've done if he had so much as looked at her. It's why I ended up breaking up with her. Being with me was a big risk to her life and I knew it was better for her to be away from me until the whole thing went away. But after spending a week alone without her, it made me realize that maybe it had been the wrong choice. I panicked and felt that it was the only option to keep her safe. I just hope she realizes how sorry I am for not listening to her. I love her and I hope we can figure things out."

The interview finishes soon after. Margot had usually stayed to talk to guests after the show was filmed but couldn't this time. She apologized and rushed back to her place where she found you standing at her front door with a bouquet of her favorite flowers. 

"I heard what you said."

You said with a smile. You hand her the flowers and wrap an arm around her neck. 

"I love you too and I'm sure we can work things out."

Margot gives you a wide smile and leans down to kiss you. 

"God, what did I do to deserve you."
