"And we're live!"
You tell Katie. Katie looks over to your phone, trying to see how it was possible that the two of you were now 'live.'
"Babe, are you sure? I don't see any on the screen. How do you know that they can see us."
You let out a quiet chuckle as you wrap your arms around her and look over her shoulder so you can explain to her how it worked.
"Well, you see that text that keep popping up?"
"Yeah, are those the people that are tuned."
"Yep!"
Katie flushes in embarrassment over her lack of understanding. She gives the camera a shy wave as she starts to apologize.
"You guys are going to have to forgive me but I'm really bad at this, it's why I had (y/n) start it for me."
Katie leans over to take a closer look at the comments.
"So I know that we agreed to watch the episode with you live but we're going to have to postpone that for another time. Someone...I'm not saying names....decided to host a party for later today but we promise to do next week's episode."
"Are you blaming me!?"
"Not at all! I didn't even name you! You put yourself on the spot."
Katie turned around to glare at you and the back to the camera.
"You see what I have to deal with. I demand a divorce."
"We're not even married!"
"Well if we get married then! Anyways, you guys are going to be joining us while we bake a cake. I invited people over and forgot to buy dessert. Fair warning, most of my desserts contain a lot of alcohol."
"Tell me about it, I nearly had alcohol poisoning from one bite."
"Oh fuck off, she did not have alcohol poisoning from one bite. It was more like 3 slices."
"Well how was I supposed to know that you added a whole bottle to the cake."
The two of you are interrupted from an argument as a notification rings of someone wanting to join the live.
"Looks like Nicole wants to join us!"
"Wait, that's not going to disconnect us from the live?"
"No, we can talk to another person and they'll still be able to see us.'
Skeptical about it working, Katie saw you reach over and accept Nicole's request to join the live.
"I heard that you guys were doing a live and I just had to see this for myself. I'm surprised that you were able to set this up Katie."
"Just because I'm a little clueless about social media, doesn't mean that I don't know how to work some of the stuff."
Nicole looks up to you. "You helped her, didn't you?"
