Lena woke up to the sound of you throwing up in the morning. She rushed out of bed and headed towards the bathroom where she found you on the floor, throwing up into the toilet. All she did was hold your hair up until you were ready to stand up.
"God, who the hell thought it was a good idea to get pregnant?"
You mumbled as you took her hand and slowly stood up.
"We both did. I offered to carry first but you insisted."
While washing your teeth, you glared at her in the mirror.
"Well next time, don't stop me from letting you carry our next kid."
Lena nods and walks back to the bathroom to let you finish cleaning up. Her alarm hadn't ringed but it was just around the time that she needed to get up for work. Walking to her closet, she picked out her outfit for the day and changed quickly. She wanted to cheer you up and make you breakfast so there was no time to waste.
As you walked in the room, you leaned down to kiss Lena before she put on her lipstick.
"What's the hurry? You still have over an hour to get to work?"
"I wanted to make breakfast for you."
"Aww. Baby, that's sweet. You don't have to do that. I'll just eat at work."
Lena stops applying her makeup and turns around to face you properly.
"I thought you said you were going to stop going to work this week."
"Mmm. I thought about it but didn't really feel like just staying at home and doing nothing. There's still a lot to do at the DEO, even if I'm no longer allowed to go on the field."
You were still annoyed that Lena had prohibited you from joining the other agents and forcing Alex to ban you to the labs.
"I can't believe you're still mad about that, darling. I only did it because I was worried about your safety."
"I know, Lena. I get it. I just can't stop myself from still feeling annoyed. I hate not being able to help out Alex and Kara."
Lena gives you a smile and stands up to wrap her arms around your waist.
"Well you'll still be able to help them from here. I already set up your computers that are connected to the DEO server. You can borrow my lab to test out all your theories."
You rolled your eyes and slipped out of her arms.
"I'm not going to stay home, when I could still be able to work at the DEO. It's the safest place in town, other than here and your office. I don't see what the problem is."
"It's just that the DEO has been attacked before. I don't want you to be there if it happens again. Please, I'll rather you stay here at home."
"And it's safe at the DEO too. There are plenty of agents there. Plus Supergirl often comes around."
You finished getting ready, simply just changing into the usual DEO uniform and put on some light makeup.
"I'm not arguing about this Lena. I haven't stopped you from going to your office after all those assassination attempts. What's different from this?"
"You're carrying our baby."
You sigh and walk up to her, cupping her cheeks and leaning in to kiss her.
"Alex and Kara are super protective already. They'll make sure that nothing happens to me."
Lena sighs and nods. She knew that you were safe at the DEO.
"You're right. I just worry a lot."
"You do and that's okay. How about we go get breakfast and then you can drop me off at work?"
"What are we waiting for then? Lets go. I'm starving."

The two of you had breakfast and Lena dropped you off soon after. You've been cooped up in the labs for a while now. You had been so distracted from working on some new samples that you hadn't noticed Alex walk in.
"Shit, Alex. You fucking scared me."
Normally, Alex would have laughed and said something funny but she remained serious.
"It's Lena. A bomb had gone off in her office. She wasn't inside but she was nearby. Close enough that she still got hurt. Kara took her and Jess to the hospital."
Your mind was still reeling in from what Alex had told you.
"I need to see her."

You remained calm throughout the ride to the hospital, mainly because you needed to for the baby. Kara had called halfway through and told the two of you that Lena was awake and asking for you.
"Oh god, Lena!"
Lena bit back a whimper as you hugged her tightly.
"I'm okay, (y/n). Just some minor scratches and bruises."
You pulled away from the hug and leaned in to kiss her.
"I'm never letting you out of my sight."
"It was just a minor mistake. It won't happen again"
"That mistake could have killed you. Had we not been late, you would've been killed Lena!"
Lena sighs and nods.
"But I'm not dead yet, I'm fine."
"I don't care. You're working from home now until we both figure out a way to bomb proof, assassin proof, fire proof and all kinds of proof your office. I want to make sure that you're 100% safe before I ever let you in again."
"(Y/n)..."
"No ifs, ands or buts, Lena."
"I was just going to say that I'll stay at home, only if you do too."
"Of course, I will! I told you that I'm not letting you out of my sight."
"Good, because neither am I."
