kimetsu gakuen au before, during, after tests because we have tests in a day and i'm not even trying to look at my nonexistent notes. before is B, during is D, after is A. just putting this here bc i've seen people get confused

tanjiro
B: studying, ocasionally peeking in on social media
D: answering test seriously, takes time but makes sure to answer everything he's sure he's read over before but might leave blanks on a test paper from a subject he really doesn't like/didn't really focus on
A: will compare scores with friends and agonize over the answers he forgot during the test

zenitsu
B: studies literally the night before the test, chilling during the other days
D: panicking, glancing at the clock over and over again, and although he does manage to answer most of the test questions on every subject, can be really annoying while taking the tests (whining, gets told off a lot), thrives off the lectures
A: actually has good scores because naturally attentive in class

inosuke
B: "the fuck"
D: will keep glancing around, scratching head, leaning over arms as he taps his paper with his pen because he seriously doesn't know the answer to almost everything, and if he does, though, he misspells them
A: comparing scores with usual gang, screaming as usual, getting encouragement from tanjiro, and getting into a fight with zenitsu is a side effect

nezuko
B: tries to study but ends up getting distracted, goes to play with siblings or watch her brother study in the end, falls asleep a lot
D: winging it, although she utilises the knowledge she stored from actual lectures instead of studying
A: just happy with whatever she gets, including headpats from tanjiro; not too glad with zenitsu's swooning by the way, but doesn't really do anything about it

genya
B: actually studies really hard
D: knows most of the answers, although he faces difficulties when writing essays for a number of items, or philosophical ones in general because he mostly goes by the book
A: gets silently competitive with tanjiro (checking scores and internally celebrating when he gets higher marks, also beating himself up inside when he gets lower marks), but pretends to not give a shit

kanao
B: casually studies, has great stock knowledge
D: finishes in under 30 minutes because is2g this kid is a fucking genius
A: top scores, small celebrations in the (modern au) butterfly estate (probably koucho household or something), like hotpot or small gifts like new hairpins, ribbons, etc because i think they really value her achievements

meanwhile, faculty staff

giyuu: students hate his tests. essays, enumeration, literally no multiple choices. if he has alternate response questions, though, it's modified alternate response.

rengoku: othetworldly test papers but atleast his passion for teaching weird history stuff gets through to his students, so much so that they also study the weird history stuff he teaches. puts motivational quotes at the bottom of the page.

not sure who the other faculty staff are tbh so i'll leave it there.

also, i'm just curious. why is sabito a student when he's literally supposed to be the same age as giyuu? is it because he's dea— //kicked
