The power inside her

I sat down in the lab.

Zack and I explain everything to Selina about how I lost my emotions. She let me use her gem. I still feel numb but it is good that I have some emotions again. She explains that since the royalty's magic is mostly from our emotions, they have to be very careful with their gem.

Without their gem, they become emotionless to everything and lose their power each day passing by. It is really scary to hear so I will do my best to get my own gem back from Super Shredder. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Donnie?"Leo said. 

"Um, yeah. Last time you hooked me up to this thing, it made me blind and mentally connected to a giant fish-bird-worm thing" April said. "Really?"Diego said, happily. Yesterday, the girls came here to visit me. Somehow Pele permitted them to visit me.

We allow them to stay with us while they were taking a tour with my parents. Deigo decides to stay with me because he wants to see me in action. "Don't worry. I've upgraded it since then. Well, Alison and I have been upgrading it since then. 

It's perfectly safe I promise" he said then it made a small exploding.  I giggle as they groan. "You build that?" he said. "Well, I help build that. Donnie is the smart one" I said as I hug Diego. "But you are smart too!"Diego said. "Not smart at him though, "I said then look at Donnie. 

He had a forced smile on him. I wonder why...  "Your psychic powers have been expanding rapidly since you were given that Aeon crystal. It's imperative I test its limits. For your own sake"Donnie said, looking away. "I have it under control. 

Besides, if it weren't for my powers, we never would have gotten away from Shredder. You saw what I did to that mutated freak" April said. "That's what worries us," Leo said as I let Diego go. He giggles as he explored the lab. 

"I just need to examine your crystal," Donnie said, reaching for the crystal.  "No! I'm not taking it off" she said as she held it close to her. He walks back a little. "Don't even ask again, Donnie. It's safe, as long as I have it"April said, glaring at him. 

"Hmm. If you can replicate how this crystal increases her powers, that could provide a frame of reference" I said then he smile. "Increase her powers?"Leo said, worry. "Don't worry. Only slightly" I said as I pet Leo's arm. "By maybe 0.3%?"Donnie said as he prepares the machine. 

She closes her eyes as we wait. Uh, nothing happens? "April, let me know if you feel anything. Okay? Tingling, headache" Donnie said then she scoffs. "I told you, I'm fine. Just leave the crystal"April said then she shouted out of pain. Things in the room started to float.

Then they started to spin around. "Gah! I knew this was a bad idea"Leo said and April look at him. "Ahh!" she yells as I let Diego down. I quickly react by touching the floor, sending some calm waves toward her then a bright light consumes us.

I groan as I sat up.

"Oh, no. April! Alison!"Raph said as he helps me up. "Whoa! Are you guys having another super-smash dance party without me?"Mikey said. "She's out, but she seems okay," Leo said as Leo check on her. "We've got to get this away from her"Donnie said, taking the crystal away.

He walks but then the necklace started to pull. "Huh? Oh! The crystal" Donnie said as it floats toward April. "Whoa. I got it!"Deigo said as he caught it. Raph put me on a chair and put his hand out to Diego. He hands it to him then he nails it down. It quickly tries to go to April but was stop. 

"That should hold it, for now," Donnie said. "What happened in here?"Splinter said then saw us. "April?"Splinter said as he went to his knee. "It's that alien crystal," Leo said then Splinter look at me. "It's been messing with her head, "I said.
