The Cold Hearted Duke(Muzan x Reader)

Chapter 2:Him.

"I-I understand..." I sniffled,
"Did something happen?"
I didn't reply.
"I'm coming in my lady...." He slowly opened the door revealing my puffy eyes and runny nose.

"What happened?!" He quickly ran up to me,touching both my shoulders.
"I... Tanjirou..." Before I could continue,a river of tears started escaping my eyes.
He quickly hugged me in comfort.
He let me cry on his chest without saying a word,I couldn't see his face but I could feel his warm gaze.

"I...It just hurts so much Tanjirou...." I spoke out,he didn't reply but he only listened.

I can't believe I wasted my time for a cheating bastard!
I unknowingly gripped on Tanjirou's clothing.

"I just can't.... I can't believe that... Adam would cheat on me with my snake of a cousin!"
I added,his eyes widened.
"What...?" Anger soon flooded over him.

"That bastard-" He was about to get up to teach Adam a lesson but I stopped him.
"No... Tanjirou don't...." I sniffled,

"But... It hurts me to see you like this... You don't deserve this Y/n." He says as he pushes my hair behind my ears and wipes away my tears. Giving me a small smile...

"Thank you...." I quickly hugged him.
"Your welcome... My lady... Do you still want to meet him? I could tell your father some excuse-" I cut him off,
"No.. We'll continue this." We both got up,
"Let me help you get ready." I nodded and smiled brightly at him. He lightly blushes.

-Muzan's POV-
"I apologize,it seems that my daughter... Is running a bit late." Duke F/n (Fathers name) says,
"Its fine." I replied,it was gonna be a loveless marriage anyways.

Soon,the door creaked open,revealing the woman I'm going to marry,her (Hair length) (Hair color) hair followed her behind,as her beautiful dress fit her nicely. She gave me a small smile,and soon sat next to her father.

I couldn't help but notice the way her (eye color) orbs stare at me with curiosity and innocence. It also seems that her eyes are a bit puffy... Has she been crying?

-Your POV-
As soon as I got inside,I was met with dull lifeless orbs that glanced at me,and there he was. The man I'm going to marry.

His black hair that resembled the night went all the way to his neck. His ruby orbs reminded me of the blood moon... I couldn't help but admit that it was a bit intimidating,but somehow.. I wasn't scared...

His stare is so cold... I gave him a smile and soon sat next to my father.

Both of them soon continued to talk,
I didn't bother listening to their conversation since all my focus was on him.

I wonder what kind of person he is... Scary? Cold? Mean? Misunderstood? Sly? Hmm...
I didn't realize that I was simply staring at him.
I lightly blushed and turned away.
He gives out a small smirk witnessing me get flustered.

Ugh... How embarrassing...
"Well Y/n,would you care to introduce yoyrself?" My father asked,I nodded.
I got up and bowed to him,"My name is Y/n L/n,its a pleasure to meet you. I hope that we both could get along." I soon sat down.

He got up,"My name is Muzan Kibutsuji, and..."
Suddenly,he walked up to me.
He held my left hand and kissed it. "The pleasures all mine."

I was a bit surprised,I guess I shouldn't worry much since he's a gentleman...

"It seems that both of you seem to get along." My father says and smiles at both of us.
