"To be, or not to be, that is the question:Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep,No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub: For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause—there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life. For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, Th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of dispriz'd love, the law's delay, The insolence of office, and the spurns....." I was starting to space out.

"That patient merit of th'unworthy takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death, The undiscovere'd country, from whose bourn No traveller returns, puzzles the will, And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all, And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pitch and moment With this regard their currents turn awry And lose the name of action." People began to cheer so I did the same thing.

How could anyone be impressed from reciting words on paper. I didn't find it interesting at all. Especially with that goody two shoes Mathias always asking for attention all the time. Once the play ended , of course he ran to see me right away. "What do you want?" I asked annoyed.

"How was the play, I make a pretty good hamlet right?" He asked with happiness. "You weren't a bad one, but you weren't a good one either. I've seen better" I spoke seriously.

"Dang, you sure don't go easy on me, say, how about we go on a date? I could learn more about why you hated my performance" he smiled. "Yeah, I would rather not" I laughed annoyed. I started to walk off but he grabbed my hand tightly. "Wait! Don't go, I like talking to you! Maybe we can be friends?"

"Listen, you seem like a nice person, but we go over this every time. There are plenty of people who want to be your friend"
"Yeah! But I want you to be my friend, please?" He asked. It seemed as if he was trying to beg me now.  I looked at him seriously and breathed out annoyed. "Fine, we can be friends" I said annoyed.

I tried to walk off but he pulled me back to him. "Great! Come to my house this weekend so we can play games, you know, get to know each other more" he smiled a stupid grin. "That's too soon, if we are going to be friends , you have to respect my boundaries, and I get to pick where we go."

"Fine fine! What do you want to do?" He asked. I knew exactly what I wanted to do, well, more of I needed help doing. "My little brother is moving college! Move in day at his university is this weekend, you are going to go with me and help me carry his things." I told him seriously.

His eyes widened as I started to walk off "really?" He asked confused. "You are my friend right?"
"Well yeah, but-."
"And as a friend you are to help me in times of need?"
"Yes,-."
"Then there is no problem here. I need help for my baby brother and you will help me. You can't go back on it now" I said seriously.

Mathias began to laugh as he followed me into the hallway. "Lukas, you are something else. Well, I guess I could help you out, It could be fun to meet your baby brother, I wonder what he is like" he cheered. I tried to ignore him, I was worried I wouldn't be able to help Emil move his things on my own. This was great news actually, I didn't have to hire anyone for the job.

"here is my number, I will send you information about it later, don't let me down" I said. I quickly wrote my number down on a paper and handed it to him. "Your number?" He asked. "Yes, do you have a problem with that?" I asked.

"No!!! Absolutely not!"
"Good, also, this is only strictly business, don't be texting me every second of the day"
"Nope! I promise not to do that" he smiled happily. He was an odd person but hey, if he was going to help me, I wasn't complaining at all. "Okay good, I will see you later I guess" I said slowly. It was my fourth year in college and I still was not good at talking to people. Especially people my age, it was probably the worst thing to watch me do, and the most depressing.

"Yes! Bye" he smiled. He started to walk backwards as I waved at him. In the process bumping into people and tables. Which I guess was more embarrassing than watching me talk to people. "Bye" I spoke. He continued to smile with a grin on his face until he was no longer in sight of me.

It was odd of him to be acting this way, but I suppose it should not be all that bad. I just hope you doesn't make a fool of himself or me in front of my brother Emil. There will definitely be a lot of questions asked about the type of friends I have or surround myself. Hopefully that will not be the case.
