• Where did you and Matt meet at? You two are so freaking cute together 🥰😍 We met in high school actually! I met him when I was a freshman and he was a sophomore! We met in choir class and we also had lunch together a lot! We are high school sweethearts ❤️
• Do you miss being in Maryland? Yes and no! Maryland was the first state I ever lived in when I moved from France to the United States and I love it very much! Maryland is such a beautiful state and I love a lot of things about it! I also became an United States citizen while living there!
Yes, I miss being in Maryland because I miss being near all of our family and hometown friends! I miss having our family a few minutes away to watch the kids And I miss hanging out with my hometown friends very very much!
However, we are following the American Dream in California and we absolutely love it here! We have a lot of of friends and support here as well! Also, all of our family members travel here very often to visit with us and we also travel to Maryland to visit with them! 😊
• What is your heritage? You are so gorgeous! Aww, thank you so so much! I really appreciate all of the compliments and love from all of you 💖 And I am half Italian and half French! I was born and raised in France until I was about thirteen before moving to Maryland! In Maryland is where I met Matt! 😍😘
So Matt and I's children are African American, Italian and French!
• How many siblings do you have? I have four older brothers! I am the only girl 😇 There names are Angelo, Enzo, Emilio and Dante! They are all married and I love my in-laws Daniela, Missy, Ellie and Frankie so much! I have eight nephews and four nieces who I love dearly as well!
• Do twins run in your family? Yes, they do! However they haven't been in the family since my grandma on my mom's side was born! She had two sets of twin siblings (two girls and two boys) so Matt and I knew we could possibly have twins but we didn't think it would happen since my mom didn't have any!
So when I found I was pregnant with Lilianna and Elianna we were so shocked but very happy! Out of all of the kids on my side of the family, Lili and Elli are the only set of twins!
• What are the kids names and why did you choose them? Lilianna Paris and Elianna Siena are the twins names! 💖💖 I wanted to be cliche and and have the girls names rhyme and Matt thought it would be cute too 😂 Elianna was Matt's favorite name while Lilianna was my favorite name! Paris is after my French heritage and Siena is after my Italian heritage!
Kellen Matthew is our oldest son's name! Kellen was a name that Matt had always liked and I fell in love with it too! Matthew is after Matt because Kellen is our first born son and I wanted to honor Matt that way. I surprised Matt with that fact the day Kellen was born. We didn't have a middle name picked out and when Kellen was born the nurse asked what his name was and I said Kellen Matthew. It was a beautiful moment 💙
Isaiah Preston is our youngest son's name! Isaiah was a Bible name that I always loved and Matt loved it as well! Preston was after a family friend of mine growing up that recently passed away a few months before Isaiah was born. He and I were close as kids so I wanted to honor him 💚
Zoey Alexandra is our baby girl's name! Matt always loved the name Zoey and he wanted to use it for ages and when we found out we were having a girl, we both knew we had to name her Zoey! Alexandra is a family name on my side of the family! My middle name is Alexandra and Alexandra is my mom's name!
• Are you close with Matt's bandmates? YES! They are like sisters and brothers to both Matt and I! All of us are truly a family and I love that about Pentatonix 🖤💖💚💙💛💜 All of the kids go to school together and they are like cousins 🥰😍
• Who do you think the kids look like? I think Lilianna looks just like me while Elianna looks like Matt's mom 💖 Kellen is Matt's twin and Isaiah looks like my dad 🥰 Zoey is a perfect mixture of Matt and I!
• Would you guys ever get a pet? 🐶🐱🐹🐰p Matt has been wanting one for years now! I didn't have pets growing up like Matt did! The kids have really been wanting a pet as well (they all keep asking for a dog, a rabbit or both). Maybe soon we will get one now that everything has settled down since Zoey was born ☺️
• How are you doing today? I am doing absolutely great, thank you for asking! ❤️ I have been relaxing outside while the older kids play and while Matt does yard work! Zoey has been cuddling with me and breastfeeding a lot! Somebody is having another growth spurt 💕
• How old are the kids now? They are getting so big! 🥺 I know! The kids are growing up so so fast 😭 Lilianna and Elianna just turned eight in March! Kellen is going to be six in September! Isaiah turned three in January! And Zoey is three weeks old 💜
• Does Matt love being a girl dad now that he has three girls? Absolutely! Matt loves having three daughters! 🎀🎀🎀 Matt also loves having two sons as well! 😊
Matt loves all five of his children very much and he is so thankful to be a dad 💖💖💙💙💖 He is the best father to our children I could have ever asked for!
• What is your favorite thing about baby Zoey? Everything about her is my favorite. 🎀 Zoey is so perfect and she is a wonderful addition to our family. She is our rainbow baby and she is the light after the storm 🌈
• How many languages can you speak? I can speak three languages! I can speak English, French and Italian! I can speak English and French fluently though! I can understand Italian more then I can speak it!
• What is your favorite thing that Matt does for you? Everything 💜 He does things for me that he doesn't even have to do. He spoils me and treats like a princess and I just feel so special!
• Are you close with Matt's family and is Matt close with your family? My family LOVES Matt! To be honest, I was really scared to bring Matt home because he wasn't Italian or French like my brother's wives/husband 😂 My dad is a very intimidating man so I was scared my dad would hate Matt for some reason. But when they all met him they all fell in love with him and was happy that I was treated like a princess! Matt loves my family as well! He is really close with my brothers! And Matt loves my mom and dad as well
Matt's family loved me the day they all met me during our first choir concert! Once Matt and I got together they fell in love with me some more! Matt's family is smaller then mine, so I was able to be really close with his dad, mom, brother and mom!
• How is Zoey as a baby so far? She is a wonderful baby! Out of all of the Sallee babies she is the most chill and relaxed! Must be being the fifth child you act like that 😂 She is very calm and very sweet! She loves to be held, she loves to cuddle and she loves being outside in the sun! She is a perfect little baby and I am so blessed to be her mom ❤️
• Who is older? You or Matt? Matt is a year older then me! 😇 We got married about three years after high school! I love him so much and I am so grateful he is mine 💜
• Are you and Matt going to have another baby someday? 🥺👶🏽 I think we want to have one more baby so that Zoey has a sibling closer to her age! Zoey and Isaiah are three years apart while Lili, Elli and Kellen are twoish years apart 💚
• If you and Matt has another baby would you want a boy or a girl? We would want a healthy and happy baby 💚 It doesn't matter to us what the gender would be. We would just want a baby that is healthy 😇
