What happened in the med bay

"JACKS NOT IN LOVE WITH THE DOCTOR" you shout as you sit up. "Sorry I don't know why I said that" You look around the bright room blinking as you recognise it as some sort of Med bay as you sigh and attempt to stand up. "Woahhhh ok take it easy you dropped to the floor at quite a lot of force. you took quite a blow to the head.... painkillers?" Owen explained then turning round obviously assuming your answer to pain killers would be yes. However you shake your head "no thanks where's um what's his name the cute one in the red shirt... IANTO where's he". Owen eyes you suspiciously "why" you were about to answer as the room began to spin again as the white hot pain shot through your head. Owen rushed for your side as you dropped your head to your hands now seeing every image clearly and you noticed that this time they weren't the doctors memories or even any one in the room. They had to be jacks memories. They began from the beginning of his life. The beginning of their life. These however where no ordinary memories, you could see and hear what he was thinking at every moment. You noticed a girl with blonde hair jealousy running through you momentarily when you heard her being called 'rose'. But more importantly you saw the memory that had caused you to shout out before. Jack seemed to be standing just watching ianto begin to search through an office. You try to listen more closely to the memory not quite believing it as you heard jack stutter through a, for him, rather unbelievable sentence, "I was thinking , when this is all over we could ... movie, dinner?". You watched as ianto spun round "are you ... asking me out on a date?". Suddenly that memory was gone replaced by one clearly not long after the previous memory "by the way" jack began as he looked over his shoulder "Is that a yes?". Ianto looked down to the ground "YES, yes" and it was then you felt it, jacks emotions there was happiness mixed with adoration something you never thought jack could even feel and if he did he hid it well, but here he was blatantly asking a man out on a date and those were things jack didn't do often or at all really. You watch as the memories flash faster and faster this time they were almost all memories of jack and ianto. Ianto In front of a coffee machine. Ianto smiling and kissing jack gently while he placed paper work on his desk. Jack kissing ianto on the forehead to comfort him. And finally the memory that made you decide what ianto was to jack. You watch as you recognise the start of the memory as death and nothing ness. You recognise the strain and pain of being dragged back to reality and knowing you're going to feel hard concert under you, however as jack opened his eyes an unfocused ianto came into view. He was holding jack close, whispering comforting words into his ear as he cane back to the land of the living. You tried to recognise the words, most of them were welsh and you only knew a few welsh words. However there was one word that ianto kept repeating. Cariad. You knew there was some debate over the meaning of this word, some used it as a term of endearment for the word beloved but you'd always known it to mean love or darling however that didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was the pure love jack felt during the memory so strong you could feel it

You slowly lift your head again and Owen immediately inspects your eyes and, while watching you carefully, allows you to stand and search for ianto. You disappear from the med bay calling for ianto.
