Luke had been hanging out with Ashton a lot recently. More than him and Micheal hang out.

He knew that was a mistake right when Micheal texted him "got some" and a picture of Ashton's friend, Calum, cuddled up next to him as he took the picture.

Of course, Luke couldn't stay away from the Irwin.

They hung out almost 24/7 over the course of weeks, that turned into months, that turned into a year.

"Micheal, I swear," Luke whined, stomping his foot. His green-haired friend crossed his arms and shook his head. "Swear to what? That you're not madly in love with him?" He pauses. "Because you are, Lucas. You really are."

"No I'm not! We're just friends, promise," the younger of the two pouted, even though he knew, deep down, he wished they were more than that. But, no. He did not like Ashton Irwin.

"You're so blind," Micheal said, then mumbled something under his breath about 'going to find calum.'

Luke began walking back home, lugging his books in one arm.

Ashton peeks around the corner of the school as Luke walks away. He thought he felt something with Luke.. Scratch that, he knew he felt something with him. Did Luke really not feel anything the past year they've been hanging out?

But, then again, maybe Micheal was right. Was he hiding it?

Nah. Luke wouldn't want to date him anyway.

"Ashton, you're going to spoil your dinner," Ashton's mom, Anne-Marie, huffed at her oldest son.

"Forget it. I'll stay on this couch watching sappy romance movies all my life."

"Ashton Fletcher Irwin. Don't say that!"

"But it's true. He doesn't even like me!" Ashton whines, setting his tub of ice cream on the coffee table.

He feels the couch dip as his mom sits next to him. He fell back in her lap, and she ran her fingers through his hair.

"He probably doesn't like me because I'm too weird. Am I fat? Maybe that's why I'm eating ice cream.. he's perfect, he should get perfect in return. He was probably only hanging out with me so Micheal could fuck Calum," Ashton rambled on, before he got cut off with a sharp gasp and a "Ashton Fletcher Irwin, watch your language!" from Anne-Marie.

"Sorry," he mumbles.

"Ash? Why aren't you eating?" Luke asks his friend, who sits poking at his food. "I know the lunch here is gross and-" he pauses to gesture to Micheal and Calum across the table. "-they're sucking face, but you have to eat."

Ashton shakes his head, and looks at the youngest of the four with sad eyes.

"Shh," Micheal whispers to Calum, who cant keep his hands off his boyfriend. They stop sloppily making out to watch Luke and Ashton. (I'm sorry, I have to put Malum in 😂 you know me)

"What is it, Ashy?" Luke questions.

"I should probably just starve. I'm obviously too fat, that's why you don't like me, right?"

Luke gasps. "No, no, no, no, no! Of course not! You're like, the healthiest out of all the people I know, especially Micheal!"

"I am?"

"Yes, I.. Look, I do like you. I just didn't want to admit it. But, Ashton Irwin, I really, really, really like you."

"Really?" Ashton asks.

Luke laughs. "Yes."

He pulls Ashton in for a small peck, and they find themselves going back for another longer, and more passionate kiss.

"Hey Mom, this is Luke, we're going to my room, byeee!" Ashton calls out to his mother in the kitchen as he drags Luke upstairs and plops him on the bed.

Anne-Marie shakes her head and mumbles a "kids these days" and continues chopping some lettuce. (Fun fact, I hate lettuce)

Ashton pulls luke into his lap and kisses every part of him he can reach. Luke blushes and giggles as his new boyfriend pampers him with love.

"I love you," he says.

"Love you more."

"No you don't."

"Says who?"
