"HOW THE hell are you still alive?"

Isang tawa ang narinig ni Knox mula kay Danielle. Halos hindi siya makapaniwala. Bigla na lang itong sumulpot sa harapan niya. "I time travel, Knox. That's still unclear to you?"

"You're not worried that you died?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I already heard that from you."

"I never told you this before."

"You did. You will, in the future."

"This time-travel business is driving me crazy."

"I know, right? Same here."

"I need to go back."

"I'm surprised you haven't yet."

"What do you mean?"

Ngumiti ito nang pilya. "Oh, God, this is gonna be so good." Humalakhak ito, may inilabas mula sa bag. "Here."

Takang kinuha niya iyon. Kung anong nakabalot sa tela na nang buksan niya ay natuklasang ginto. Gold bars, each weighing a kilo each. Higit kalahating dangkal ang haba ng mga iyon, two inches ang lapad, wala pang isang inch ang kapal. Danielle gave Knox five of those.

"Thanks, I guess, but I would really prefer knowing how to get out of here. I've been told my life is in danger here."

"Oh, baby," ani Dani. "Only you can help yourself."

"Where do I start though?"

Ngumisi na naman ang babae. "Am I gonna tell you? I really am surprised you still don't know. Very interesting, Knox."

"Tell me. You owe me."

"You're right. Well, you can travel through time, and so can she, if you have sex. Proper sex, no hand jobs or blowjobs."

Halos mapatulala siya sa babae. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me. You want her, right?"

"Well..." I think that's a pretty private thing, now, Dani. Nakaramdam siya ng kung anong inis. Bakit kailangan pang itanong ng babae ang ganoon kapribadong bagay? Kunsabagay, hindi si Dani ang tipo ng taong kayang magpigil ng mga salita. Kilala na niya ito.

"I've been there, remember? Dreaming about the other person, just wanting to fuck their brains out. Do it and travel."
