Tony had a stupid idea. Do you want to know what that stupid idea was? He decided to test out the theory that spiders hate peppermint.
He grabbed some peppermint oil that he had in his lab for some unknown reason and poured it into a spray bottle.
He went inside the lift.
"Hey FRI, where's Pete?"
"Peter is in the kitchen with Mr Barnes, Miss Romanoff and Miss Maximoff."
FRIDAY helpfully supplied.
"Thanks baby girl. You're the best."
"Thank you sir."
The lift went up to the level where the kitchen was and Tony tried to sneak behind Peter but as always, he was caught.
"Hey Mr Stark."
Peter said without turning his back.
"How did you know it was me?"
The millionaire asked.
"How heavy the footsteps were. Plus FRIDAY told me you were looking for me."
Wanda snickered.
"Oh ok."
Tony started spraying the peppermint oil near where Peter was standing.
"Oh what are you-"
Peter cut himself off and started hissing.
He climbed up the wall the the corner far away from where the stench was coming from and started hissing.
"Tony what did you do?"
Natasha asked.
"I was seeing if Peter was like an actual spider!"
"So you decided to spray peppermint oil about the place? Peppermint oil is deadly to some types of spiders!"
Bucky smacked Tony on the back of his head.
"Stupid imbecile."
He muttered in Russian.

Pepper walked into the kitchen two hours later.
"Peter, why are you on the ceiling?"
The woman asked.
"Tony sprayed peppermint oil."
Wanda said.
"Tony! You're banned from your lab for a week!"
It is 2:27am. I think I might need sleep, not sure.
