Avengers One Shots (COMPLETED)

21. Laced Drink

I'm nearly finished this! Just ten more one shots and it's done and I'll be taking requests soon!

Peter sat down at lunch with Ned and MJ sitting further down the table with her book open.

"Hey dude, did you hear that there's gonna be a showing of the new Star Wars movie with bloopers?"
Ned asked excitedly. (I don't know shit about Star Wars ok.)

"I didn't! We are so going!"
Peter said excitedly, ignoring his Spidey Sense as he drank his water.

"You guys are losers."
MJ said, not looking up from her book.

Peter started coughing and Ned looked at him weirdly.

"Dude, you ok?"
Ned asked.

Peter couldn't reply, he just kept coughing before he collapsed on the floor.

"Peter?"
Ned asked worriedly.

"Is he ok?"
MJ asked, looking up from her book.

"I don't know. He just took a sip of water and started coughing and then he collapsed!"
Ned said, nearly crying.

People started crowding round Peter and Ned.

"What happened?"
"Why is Penis Parker on the floor?"
"Is he breathing!"
Several students were saying all at once.

No one noticed Flash's grin as him and his 'friends' left the canteen.

"Back away."
Iron Man said and everyone listened.

"Mr Stark? Is Peter gonna be alright?"
Ned asked.

"I don't know Ned."
Tony said, lifting Peter up and flying off.

"Mr Stark knows my name."
Ned said.

The canteen was silent for once. It was the quietest it had ever been since the school opened.

"Wait, where's Flash? He would be ecstatic that Peter is ill?"
Someone asked.

"Do you think Flash did this to Peter?"
A girl asked.

"I wouldn't put it past him."
MJ said.

"We need to find him! He can't be let of for this!"
Another student said.

"We can't just put the blame on Flash. He might not have done this."
Ned said.

"Come on Ned, everyone knows that Flash hates Peter. It's the obvious thing."
Abe said.

"Ned, what are you not telling us?"
MJ asked, she could see that there was something that Ned was not telling everyone.

"Uhm, Peter is Tony Starks personal intern. He's got loads of people wanting to kill him."
Ned said hurriedly.

"So Peter wasn't lying about the Stark Internship?"
Someone asked.

"He just got taken away by Mr Stark, of course he isn't lying about it."
Ned said.

"Alright, why is everyone crowded round this particular table huh?"
Mr Morita asked.

Everyone shuffled away from the table.

"Ned. I know you're lying."
MJ said.

"I'm not lying MJ."
Ned lied.

"Just tell me Ned. Peter's my friend as well."
MJ said.

"Peter's gonna kill me if I tell you this."
Ned said.

"What is it? Is something wrong with Spider-Man?"
MJ asked.

"What? How did you know that Peter is SM?"

"It's pretty easy to figure out if you're bored. Plus you guys don't know how to whisper."

"Oh. Well the Vulture got out of prison and Peter's worried that he'll find him and hurt us."
Ned said.

Peter started stirring awake.

He looked around and his eyes met Mr Starks.

"Hey Mr Stark."
Peter said.

"Hey kiddo. You gave everyone a fright."
Tiny said.

"What happened?"

"You got poisoned. By this kid called Eugene Thompson. He's been arrested and he's spending a lot of time in jail."
Tiny said.

"Oh. Ok. Imma go back to sleep."
Peter closed his eyes and was out like a light.

Slightly longer than the last ones.
