Kabanata 2.1

Five months later...

             She woke up in deep thought when she felt the vibration of her cellphone. Inilabas niya iyon mula sa bulsa ng bag. When she saw the name on the screen, she immediately answered the call.

Hindi sana niya sasagutin iyon pero baka tadtarin na naman siya ng mga missed calls nito.

Ngayon lang ulit ito nagparamdam pagkalipas nang mahigit dalawang linggo. Naging tahimik kasi ang buhay niya dahil wala ang presensiya nito sa paligid niya. Wala rin siyang ideya kung bakit ito napatawag sa kanya ngayon.

"Alyssa," bati sa kanya nang nasa kabilang linya.

"Yeh," isang tamad na 'Yeah' ang isinagot niya rito.

Sinabi naman nito agad ang pakay ng pagtawag nito. Alam kasi nitong ayaw niya ng may paligoy - ligoy.

"Are you still looking for a job? May hiring kasi ngayon sa BRC, they need a waitress. If you're interested you can just drop by anytime," Athena informed on the other line.

There she goes again with her sweet voice and all. She wondered why her cousin is so obssess on teasing Athena.

Sometimes being sweet can be deceiving.

Natuon naman ang pansin niya sa nabanggit nito kanina.

BRC? Kilala niya ang restaurant na iyon, Belle Restaurant & Cafe. It's a famous restaurant with different cuisines. Isang kilalang pamilya ang nagmamay-ari no'n.

Madalas din kumain si Athena ro'n at minsan ay inaaya pa siya nito.

Anyway, thanks to Athena. Her problem is solve. She was actually planning to find another job later. She resigned from her previous job because she got bored. She wanted to experience a different job this time.

The job offer is perfect for her. Kailangan niya kasi ng pera ngayon kaya hindi na siya nag-inarte pa.

"Okay. I'll be there by tomorrow morning. Thanks."

"I already recommended you just don't forget to bring your resume. Gotta' go. Bye, Aly!" mabilis na paalam nito sa kanya.

Napatingin siya sa cellphone dahil mukhang binabaan na siya nito.

Maybe she's in a hurry. Madalas kasi dinadaldalan muna siya nito.

Makakahanap din naman siya ng trabaho kahit wala ang tulong nito.

Bumalik naman sa isip niya ang pangalang itinawag nito sa kanya kanina.

Alyssa.

Them calling her Alyssa is kind of unfamiliar feeling for her.

It wasn't her real name but for a difficult circumstances she had to steal that name from the real Alyssa.

For now, she is known as Alyssa Craig. An identity that does not belong to her in the first place. But she prefer to use the name Alyssa Craig. The name exist and the person who own's it ..is hiding.

She is using that person's identity to live a normal life, away from the people who wanted to end her. This is not the first time she has used someone else's name. But the difference is, it's a living person. Madalas kasi ay pangalan ng mga namayapa na.

At dahil gamit niya ang pangalan ng taong iyon ay wala itong kakilanlan, walang pangalan. She's no longer Alyssa Craig. She's a no one.

And her name, Helliza, no longer exist. Her name doesn't exist.
