"Oh my– BUCKY! Come look at this!"
When he heard your voice, Bucky immediately ran up to you, somehow managing to appear both concerned and confused at the same time.
You giggled and turned your phone around to show him. His pale eyes widened as he read the numbers on the screen.
"One hundred thousand reads? Wow. Doll, that's amazing!" Bucky grinned and wrapped his arms around you as you laughed giddily.
"I never thought anybody would even see any of my writing, I can't believe it! I wish I could hug every single person who ever read even just a single chapter of this book."
Bucky kissed the top of your head as you continued to smile. "Are you proud?" he asked softly.
"Uh, yeah. I guess I am," you replied.
"Well, I'm proud of you."
