"𝐻𝐸𝐿𝐿𝑂, Katherine." Stefan sighed as he crept into Alaric's old apartment, seeing the woman who looked identical to Elena. Adelaide followed behind him, watching her surroundings carefully. Klaus didn't seem to be here at this moment in time.
"Two days, I've been waiting." The five hundred year old vampire snapped as she pushed her self away from the counter to stand in front of Stefan and Adelaide. "I'm supposed to be free of Klaus' compulsion by now. He's supposed to be dead." She snarled.

"We ran into complications." Stefan huffed.

"Complications?"

"Doesn't really matter. I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" Adelaide let out a yelp as Katherine pushed her back using her speed and strength while she used her speed to hide Stefan behind a wall. Adelaide groaned as her back hit the wall.

"Bitch," she muttered under her breath.

"Klaus, you're back." Speak of the devil.

Adelaide looked up as Katherine and Stefan moved away from behind the wall. Klaus and Elijah walked into the apartment. Klaus took a quick glance at Adelaide's state before growling at Katherine.
"Look who decided to come for a visit." She noticed Klaus's reaction when he saw Adelaide in pain so she directed his attention onto Stefan while taking a small step back out of fear.

"You just keep popping up, don't you?" Klaus smirked at Stefan as he made his way over to Adelaide. He picked her up before carrying her over to the sofa in the room, placing her down gently. Stefan watched as the parent big bad hybrid handled the girl with care. Something he hadn't thought Klaus was capable of.

"I need your help... we need your help." Stefan corrected himself, glancing at Adelaide, who strangely seemed to be completely fine now. It was like her back had healed. Stefan was sure he had heard one of her rib bones crack when she hit the wall. He frowned at her slightly, in confusion before looking back at Klaus. He did notice that she herself was extremely confused as to why she felt no pain anymore.

"For my brother." Stefan walked forward as he carried on speaking.

"Well, whatever it is, he's gonna have to wait a tick." Klaus replied. "You see, I have an obligation to my brother that requires my immediate attention." Klaus smirked as he pointed back towards Elijah, who stood behind Klaus, wearily. Klaus walked past Stefan as Elijah closed in on Stefan.
"You understand how important family is. Otherwise you would be here. My brother gave me his word that he would reunite me with my own." Elijah explained his reasons for not killing Klaus when he had the chance.

"And so I shall." Elijah turned around as Klaus appeared behind him, stabbing Elijah in the heart with a dagger. His skin when grey and old like while his veins appeared at the top of his skin. Elijah let out a groan as he slowly fell to the floor. Klaus then rushed over to Stefan, grabbing him by the neck as he pushed him up against the wall.

"Let him go," Adelaide stood up instantly, ready to try and protect Stefan no matter what.

"Hush little dove," Klaus chuckled at her. "Now, what am I gonna do with you?" He looked Stefan in the eye before shoving his hand into Stefan's body.

"You feel that," Klaus smirked as Stefan groaned, "It's scraping against your heart." Adelaide yelled at him to stop but he didn't listen. "The slightest little movement, and you're dead."
