Frozen In The Mind

Robin sat in her hospital bed as the other's filled the room.

"so why doesn't she remember?" Clint asked the doctor.
Tony and Bruce were with them talking quietly in the corner of the room.
" injuries to the head may cause  temporary amnesia" the doctor explained.
"what can we do?" Bruce asked looking over his shoulder and saw Steve talking to Robin.
"well treat her normally and surround her with familiar things and there's a chance she will regain them"
"a chance? So there's also a chance she won't ever remember?" Tony said getting frustrated.
"she'll slowly regain them as time goes on just help her a little" the doctor left and gave the okay for the other's to take her back to their floor in the compound.

Clint and Bruce took her to the living room were Nat and the twins were. When Robin stepped In Jason jumped off Pietro's lap and started jumping at Robin's leg with excitement.
Robin backed up a little behind Clint. "do I like dogs? I don't remember him"

"that's your dog Jason" Clint said and picked up the pup. "see" Robin slowly petted the dog as Clint held on to him.

"how ya feeling?" Natasha asked.

"okay I guess, it would be nice to remember who you are" Bruce looked down then motioned her to fallow.

Bruce lead her to her room and lend on the wall. Robin walked in cautiously and looked around.

"i must like horror movies. Do I?" Bruce turned around and saw Robin staring at the tall shelf with the hundreds of horror movie DVDs.
"yeah, you do" he sighs

"Whats my favorite?"

"um.. Friday the 13th part 6 and Child's play 2" Robin nodded then sat on her bed looking up at Friday the 13th poster that hung in her room.

"Bruce?" she asked

"yeah? What's up?"

"if your my brother where's our mom and dad?" Bruce looked down at the floor than sighed.
"our mom died the month you were born" he sat down beside her and stared at the ground again.
"so even if I get my memories back I won't remember her?"

"no.. She loved you very much... She actually made me promise her to always protect you and I just did a swell job at that haven't I"

"it's not your fault Bruce"

"our father wasn't a great man. He would beat us and I always did my best at protecting you from him" Robin looked down then back up at Bruce. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight.

He moved out of her arms then sat up. "I'm going to let you get used to everything and I think someone else wants to talk to you" he said seeing Clint leaning on the door frame.

"hay Robin" he said in a husky voice.

"hay Clint" Clint sat down beside her. He stared at the ground and rubbed his hands together.

"I'm sorry I didn't remember us" Robin said braking the silence.

Clint looked up at her and shook his head. "it's not your fault" he turned his body to face her and he gently cupped her cheek. Robin nervously looked at him. He caught on and dropped his hand to the bed.
"sorry.. I'm going to go" he swiftly stood up and walked to he door shutting it behind him.
